The room is a bit small but comfortable.

The hotel Near lawson & family mart, only walk 4-5minutes, from/to station, have ready shuttle bus, and if you want to/from gottemba you can have shuttle bus from hotel for free, you just fill reservation

The room is very spacious. The only downside of this place is that shared toilet, which only 1 for male on each floor. However, the view and the location of this place are great. We can see the fuji right at the front at the hotel. And it's only 3 minutes walking from the station. Also, the staffs hotel are friendly and nice. He provided good tips to take buses and trains. Last thing, not about the hotel itself. But try not to rent a bike from a shop next to the hotel because they close at 5PM, while other close at 8PM, which you can have more time with your rental bike.

I am feel like at home stay here. I can cook and do the laundry here. Definitely will back here again

A night before we leaving to Kyoto, I ask receptionist assistant to make reservations for tomorrow taxi from hostel to kawaguchiko station. The receptionist said the taxi will come at 10.10 because our bus reservation at 10.20. The next day, when I check out at 10.00 the receptionist said the taxi already wait from 9.50, I said to the that last night they said 9.50 not 10.10 so I have to pay 830 yen and they reorder the taxi. When we arrived at kawaguchiko station, taxi fare is 1.370 yen and taxi driver said that I need to pay extra 2.000 yen because he wait too long. It ridiculous they charged me extra because they made incorrect information, total taxi that I have been paying is 4.200.

Lovely hotel right at the front of Lake Kawaguchiko. We arrived at Kawaguchiko station at 3pm and asked the lady at the tourist information how to get there. She surprisingly called the hotel so we can get picked up by the shuttle van! There's a regular shuttle van that goes to Kawaguchiko station every morning, from 7am to 10am. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. The room was clean and spacious! We very much enjoyed the hot spring at the hotel. Would stay here again.

Nice Mt Fuji view from breakfast area. So I think we do not need booking room with Mt Fuji view. Old hotel but still well maintained

Despite my initial thought that it might be an old building, the hotel felt very modern and fresh. The staff were incredibly welcoming right from the start. Even though I wasn't feeling my best during check-in, they were super patient and helpful. The breakfast was simple but just right, served in a quaint restaurant that had a great vibe and offered a beautiful view. There are also vending machines by the lobby for when you need a quick snack or drink. Our room was spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Japan at a similar price point, with lovely amenities that made our stay comfortable. What's more, the hotel is just a short walk from Fujisan Station, and you can catch an amazing view of Mount Fuji right from the front of the hotel. I'd definitely recommend Fujisan Station Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Everything was great. The staff are super nice, food and onsen are great.
