Everything is good. Have self-service washing machine. And the most important is the self check in machine-look like airport! However, the parking is limited.
I really enjoyed my time staying at Stella hotel. The room is spacious and the bathroom is clean. The bed is quite big. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. One of the receptionist even helped me to order online taxi. Next to hotel there are many food stalls so we can pick any food we want.
Stay here because need to do check up at BP Healthcare. Location is very near BP, within walking distance. Just 5-mins walk. We booked double queen room. Room was great, spacious, very clean. If the bathroom got bathtub, it will be very awesome. Received complimentary breakfast too. Service is nice.
Great experience staying at this hotel. Descend options of breakfast. Recommended for those looking for walking distance attractions nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.
1) paid for sahur and food was not fresh got bad diarrhoea and vomitting after and ruin my birthday was in bed and not able to move. 2) after sahur our room door cannot be open and was left stranded for nearly 45mins outside with no updates. The technician gave a video of job done but we were there outside the room the whole time and the video is not even our room. Given another room after we miss our prayers. Dissapointing. Used to love this hotel for the convenience.
Very strategic loc. You can walk from there to JB city central & all. As for travellers from SG to JB, you can reach the hotel just by walking (connecting floors are there from the JB ktmb station/JB checkpoint, through the mall JB city central at the 3rd floor). The hotel is right across the side of JB city central. I brought luggage (24 cm2) but find it easy to move around from the hotel to the ktmb station (less than 15 mins walk with big luggage).
The hotel's exterior is rather run down. The side facing JB CIQ looks like an abandoned building! Our room had a window on that side of the building and it was caked in a thick layer of dirt on the outside which obscured the view.
Thankfully the interior was much better in terms of cleanliness. The room was very large and standard of cleanliness was acceptable. This being an old hotel, the furnishings were outdated. The chair in our room seemed like it would break any second and we decided it was safer not to sit on it. There was also a lack of plug points in the room. We had to unplug a lamp and the kettle in order to charge our devices. There were no plug points near the bed area.
The water heater worked well. Hot water didn't run out even when taking a long shower. And the water pressure was fantastic. Basic toiletries were supplied including shower cap, dental kit and disposable shaver.
Overall this was a pleasant stay in a strategic location. R&F mall is just across the road and JB Sentral, JB City Square etc are all reachable on foot using the covered walkway.
It's damn bad. Everything is old and in bad condition. Toilet stinks. Bathtub is rusty. The water heater is not working properly. Aircon not cold. I was in room 1233. Swimming pool is dirty. Breakfast selection is limited and horrible. Seriously the worst hotel i've been in. Do not come to this place. Citrus hotel which is just across and cheaper is much much much better.
We are excited at first but when we entered the room I was shocked that its quiet old. Aircon was noisy, bedsheets old like its been used many times and towels are old bathtub was dirty, sink no cover. When your ring accidentally drop then its bye bye. First impression of the food was tastesless like we ordered the ayam penyet the ayam was like no taste and our order was so late to come even though it was late lunch and few people only was there. I hope the management would improve.
I have no idea I booked and paid in traveloka, but hotel unable to trace the booking number. Receptionist is very rude and not helpful at all. Push all the wrong to us … blame us for booking through traveloka. After all the argument, they find out that the booking transfer to trip. Com … but tell us there is no room available? How can this happen? I already paid and voucher received! Please give an explanation! Really feel so disappointed!
