Morib is a mukim in Kuala Langat District, Selangor. It was one of the first landing points on the west coast for the British and Indian Army liberation forces during end of World War II in 1945. It is a small but suitable beach for swimming. It is located near Simpang Morib, which is about 10 km from the town of Banting. By Plane

The nearest airport to Morib is Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). From Kuala Lumpur International Airport you can take taxi to Morib. The distance from airport to Morib is about 43 km and 49 minutes’ drive from the airport.

By Car

If you travel from Kuala Lumpur or from other parts in Malaysia, you may use the Elite Highway head to KLIA and get state road to Banting and follow sign road to Morib. The journey from Kuala Lumpur takes 1 hour 16 minutes’ drive away.

By Bus

You can use the various bus connections between Kuala Lumpur and KLIA to reach Morib. You also may get a straight bus from the Nilai bus-station (nearest neighboring state of Selangor) to reach Morib.

By Train

You may take KTM train at Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station (KL Sentral) to Nilai Train Station. From Nilai you may take taxi to reach Morib. The journey only takes 1 hour (52 km) to reach Morib.

Morib Beach

If you have not been to Morib, make plan to go there for a day's trip as many changes have been done to the infrastructure of the beach. Also known as Pantai Morib in Malay language, this beach is packed during the weekends and public holidays. Families with small children, young adults and couples come here for a time of relaxation and recreation. Plenty of parking bays are available for your use. You can walk along the beach to enjoy the breeze and beautiful scenery of the beach. During low tide you can walk 1km to 2km towards the sea. Sri Morib Golf and Country Club

You may enjoy sport and relaxing activity at Sri Morib Golf and Country Club. The club was built out of the rolling hills of a former oil palm estate. The golf has 18 holes and provide good facilities such as swimming pool, bar, sauna, Jacuzzi, mini-gymnasium, dining lounge and pro-shop. The fee charge for weekdays is RM66 and RM87 for weekends. The golf open at 7.00 am until 6.00 pm.

Morib Water Theme Park
