Port Dickson is accessible from Kuala Lumpur, Sabah and Sarawak and other parts of the peninsular Malaysia. The nearest airport to Port Dickson is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The airport is easily accessible via the PLUS highway. From airport you can take taxi to Port Dickson. The distance from airport to Port Dickson is about 43.6 km and 56 minutes’ drive from the airport.

By Car

If you travel from Kuala Lumpur you may drive through the North-South Expressway (PLUS) exit at the Port Dickson interchange (Exit 219) between Seremban and Senawang interchanges. The journey takes 1 hour 21 minutes from Kuala Lumpur to Port Dickson. Port Dickson is also connected via Lekas Highway.

By bus

You may take bus to reach Port Dickson. The nearest express bus terminal is located at Terminal One, Seremban. You can take bus from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) to Seremban by using express bus services. From Seremban station you may take local bus or taxi to Port Dickson. There is also daily express bus service from Singapore to Port Dickson.

By Train

The nearest Port Dickson train station is in Seremban which can be easily reached from Kuala Lumpur. You have to catch a bus or taxi from Seremban to reach Port Dickson.

Tourist Attractions

Cape Rachado Lighthouse

One of the interesting places that you shouldn’t miss during your stay in Port Dickson is the Cape Rachado Lighthouse which is located at Tanjung Tuan. The Portuguese built the Cape Rachado lighthouse in the 16th century and as a guided ship to the Port of Malacca. Fort Lukut

The fort was built in 1847 to control the lucrative tin trade in the area. Here you can find muzzle loading guns used to defend the fort can be seen within the grounds of the District Officer’s residence and outside the Police Station in town. In the area of the fort are also the remains of the foundation of an old palace and a royal burial ground.

Teluk Kemang Beach

Teluk Kemang is the largest and most popular beach of Port Dickson, located between 7th and 8th mile from PD town.
