Bemban Village is a traditional Malay village situated alongside Jalan Jelebu which is about fifteen minutes away from the town center and capital of Seremban. Due to its location which is near the main road, the village is not far away from other facilities such as schools, mosques, shops, clinics, police stations, restaurants and many more. Moreover the village is undoubtedly easy to find because of its strategic location and the traditional design of the houses here, mostly built from wood with very few undergoing modernization to include cement. It is one of the few villages that could be found very early around the area when using the road to go to Jelebu from Seremban.

Like any other villages around the area, it still retains the characteristics of traditional Malay villages with some improvements brought over from time to time to help the villages to cope with modern age. For visitors interested to experience the glimpse of the peaceful life in the village, there are nearby hostels and homestays provided to allow close interactions with the villagers, even though due to its close proximity to the town, it is not that hard to get an accommodation in town as well.

How to Get There

By Car

People driving from Kuala Lumpur may drive through the North-South Expressway (PLUS) / E2 exiting at Nilai before continuing the journey through LEKAS / E21 towards Bemban Village. The journey could take up around forty five minutes to one hour depending on the current traffic situation.

By Train

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport, visitors can catch the Express Rail Link (ERL) train which goes to KL Sentral/Bandar Tasik Putrajaya/Cyberjaya/Salak Tinggi/KLIA route. There, one can board the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) southbound coach and stop by the Seremban or Nilai stations before opting for taxi or local bus to the village.

By Bus

The nearest express bus terminal is located at Terminal One, Seremban. Take the trip directly to Seremban from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) terminal using express bus services such as Sanwa Tours, KPB Express and Kesatuan Express. From here, hop on a local route bus or alternative transport services to go to the village.
