How to Get There

By Plane

There are flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Kuching International Airport which takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once you reach at the airport, you can take a taxi or rent a car to QQ Amusement Park for another 30 minutes by using Kuching-Samarahan expressway.

Tourist Attractions

Jong’s Crocodile Farm

Situated around 20 minute leisure drive from Kuching Town, it is one of the largest and the only crocodile breeding farm in the country. There are over a thousand crocodiles bred in captivity and mainly, this farm acts as sanctuary for the reptiles and prevent the species from extinction. The farm provides a habitat for the crocodiles to mate and multiply and visitors have a chance to watch the snapping jaws, cold menacing eyes and sharp pointed teeth of the crocodiles. The most awaited moment of Arapaima feeding demonstration is located at the middle of our gigantic Fresh Water Pond, where the Arapaima and more than 15 other species of freshwater tropical fishes habitats. Besides crocodiles, there are also other wildlife such as monkeys, leopard-cats, sunbears, bearcats, pheasants, civets, barking deers, sambar deers, turtles, fruit bats, monitor lizards, pythons and many more.

Pitcher Plant Garden

The Pitcher Plant and Wild Orchid Garden, Kota Padawan was officially declared and opened by the Minister for Public Health and Environment Ministry, Datuk Sri William Mawan on 24th June 2004. This “Pitcher Plant Garden" is situated right in the heart of Kota Padawan and consists of many pitcher plants. Besides the pitcher plants, there is a small collection of wild orchids and rare and exotic wild plants found in Padawan area. It also houses around 35 species and subspecies of pitcher plants (Nepenthes) from all over the island. Visitors can come from 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m on Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays. The entrance fees for international tourists is RM 6.00 whereas Malaysian is RM3.00. Tour guides and taxi drivers can enter for free. Visitors are reminded with the rule if any person caught damaging or stealing or involved in any actions causing harm or damage to the plants in the garden shall be imposed with a fine of RM 500.00.
