Sentul Timur LRT Station is located in Sentul, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, which is surrounded by medium density low cost housing developments and next to two secondary schools and three primary schools. Sentul LRT station was opened to public in 1998 as part of the line's second phase of development of the former STAR line, the station was intended to connect Sentul Timur to other parts of the city and surrounding areas. The station is served by Ampang Line and Sri Petaling Line. Jalan Sentul and Jalan Ipoh are the two major roads servicing this area.

You can take LRT train from KL Sentral or any LRT Station to Sentul Timur LRT Station.
