Hwaseong Guest House - Hostel
The guest house owner is not polite, we were shocked 15 minutes before the check out time tapped the entrance and turned off the heater in our room.

Novotel Ambassador Suwon
Great location, close to subway and train station, and connected to a shopping mall. Room is nice but aircon seems to be centrally controlled and it's a bit too warm. Overall it's a good experience. Bus to hwaseong fortress area is also just in front of the hotel.
