Located across Kyoto Station, Kyoto Tower is Kyoto's tallest structure that can be spotted from many of the city's sightseeing areas. The iconic landmark features a viewing platform 100 metres above the ground, where you can see panoramic views of famous sites like the Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Toji Temple, and Chion-in Temple. Completed in 1964, Kyoto Tower also provides a good view of Osaka on clear days, and showcases a play on colours towards sunset.
