We had our stay at pullman hotel from 21 – 25 dec. We ended up with one extra room booking due to some reasons and we are thankful that the manager handling our case given us an upgrade for the rooms we booked using the extra room booking we had. Location of the hotel was good, a nearby station and multiple convenience store within walking distance. But our stay at the hotel was rather an unpleasant one. Despite the cold weather outside, the room inside the hotel was very warm despite us switching off the warmer and open the windows (one in the room and one in the toilet). At the end of the day we had to request for a fan because the centralized aircon system is being switched to warmer. Hence no other option aside from a fan. 1st day - we encountered a short circuit just moments before we heading to bed which require a technician to come up and assist us. Thankfully the wait was no more than 5 mins. 2nd day - we noticed that the fridge was not working and we informed the counter about it while requesting for a fan. But the person who took my call kept telling me that the fridge is a smart fridge hence it is normal that the drinks inside is not cold. When I asked if I had drinks or food that I need to be kept cold and your smart fridge is not cold then I cannot keep in the fridge? He repeated the same sentence of “the fridge is a smart fridge and the things inside will not be cold”. When the fan was delivered to our room, we got the hsekeeping to check the fridge only to know that the fridge was malfunction that requires repair time of 30 mins which we requested for them to come back tml afternoon to do the repair work. 3rd day - the fridge still not working because there is no light, we called and informed them and was being informed that the fridge has been fixed. When we told them there was no light and we insist that if the fridge is not working we request to change room. Only then they arranged a technician to come up. Only to realized that there is no electricity as the switch board was not turned on due to the short circuit on the first night. 4th day – finally, peaceful night throughout the whole stay the experience was not pleasant and sense zero service recovery from pullman
