I really really love my stay in Mandarin Oriental. Their hospitality is top-notch, staff are very friendly, helpful, and quick problem solver. They even gave me free room upgrade because I booked this hotel for a special occasion โค. Even without promo, staying in Mandarin Oriental is worth every penny.

Upon checking into this hotel, I have sky-high expectation for both the service and the room. I have passed this hotel several times and really curious on how this well-known hotel doing on their services. I booked a night just to have a good time together with my partner and enjoying our weekend there. Upon arrival, We're greeted with a very warm welcome and they were already offer to brought our belongings, even when it's not really that much stuff. They gave us a very nice welcome drink and the receptionist, Ms. Jesslyn, treated is very well during check-in. Our requests were all fulfilled and really appreciate their attention on the small details. Then when we arrived at the room. We were stunned. It was a neatly oriental-decorated spacious room with tons of cool stuffs, one of the example was the speaker inside our bathroom. Which really gave us an awesome experience on watching movies while indulge in the bath tub. The bed was comfy and the pillows were outstanding. Definitely ranked among our top 5 hotel with the best bed ever! The hotel's facilities are considered complete for the 5-star hotel. It has a very spacious and proper gym court complete with saunas, massage and spa, and also the swimming pool, although the swimming pool is not really that big. They also noticeably fast on our in-room requests. I don't feel any delay as they send our request immediately and they happily gave what we wanted even when it was late in the night. The breakfast also exceptional! They have tons of choices in pastry (I love pastries) and the varieties of cuisines as well. The servers were also very helpful and fulfill all our requested stuffs, even when the restaurant is very packed. Overall, the hotel is really the best choice for whoever wanted to have an awesome experience on staycation in the oriental-themed hotel with nice services! Stayed in this hotel for staycation with my Wife and Daughter I have no expectation for this Hotel since I know for a fact this hotel have been around in Jakarta for a long time and ever since I was a child in the early 80s I've seen the building. I am extremely surprised to learn that all rooms (despite the price) all have separated bathtubs and shower. I took the superior room (which I think is the cheapest) and learn that: - When you enter, there is a separated small foyer with table as well as the cabinet to store your luggage and where they put the Iron table and BIG safe (compared to other hotel where you get smaller safe) - The Room is Freakin' Spacious with great Layout - Has a big 2 seater sofa and a big table - Big Working Desk - They have HDMI plug should you need to use your Notebook with the big screen TV. They even provide the HDMI cable and Ethernet Cable (should you prefer that to wifi). Wifi speed is awesome - I stream netflix/Disney+ without issues - Spacious Bathroom with dual sink, Bathtub and separated Shower (also spacious) - Large modern Flat TV - The room is clean, clean, clean When you're in the room there is this sense of spaciousness. The hotel also was really kind to give us the Bundaran HI view. All the front desk, concierge are really polite and helpful. We did not try the breakfast though Small Drawbacks: - Despite in 13th floor, you can still hear the sound of cars and motorcycles (but only when it's Harley Davidsons and Ferraris, which are loud - During weekends these people love to roam Bundaran HI) - Mandarin Oriental I think first and foremost is a business hotel. I did not try the pool due to pandemic, but I can see that it's rather small I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for Traveling business People

This is our first time stayed at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, with my family. It was very good experience. Check in process was smooth, the staffs are friendly. In the afternoon, they were checking us whether we need some more hotel amenities. The room was spacious with good Jakarta city view. There were French food restaurant in the hotel, actually we wanted to try since it looks delicious, however, at that time they were only selling valentine dinner packages. So we skipped that:-) Maybe next time.

The hotel is very comfortable, right in front of the HI roundabout, so on Sunday mornings you can run straight away on car free day along Jalan Sudirman. The breakfast also has a lot of variations, all delicious, the hotel staff are friendly.
