Best hotel in takayama for solo traveller, superb near station, bed is quite big and comfort, would come bac again

The service is very good, very satisfying. I accidentally left something behind at the previous hotel in another city, the WAT hotel was very helpful by contacting the hotel concerned and helping to ensure that the items I left behind were sent via COD package to my next hotel. Excellent location just next block to Takayama Bus center making it super convenient to commute everywhere. The room is spacious and clean. Love the private washing machine (cum dryer) in the room so we can wash our clothes and control the timing. The coffee on 2nd floor cafe is nice.

Near from station & shuttle bus, near from McD & any restaurant, and very very clean

A value for money kind of hotel. Just right there in front of the Takayama station. So convenient. Peace and quiet at night. The room is clean, with fast Wi-Fi. The only downside is the hard pillow.

A great place to experience traditional-japanese-like living. The interior is filled with tatami so we need to take off our shoes and put it in the entrance shoe locker. Because we went in January, so really appreciate the onsen provided inside the hotel free no added charges for private or public onsen. The room has an elevated traditional japanese touch with a comfy floor bedding futon. I mean the rest of our trip hotels were like normal small hotel rooms, so we really love this different thematic experience!

I have the best ryokan experience ever in this place! The staff was awesome and warming, the food was absolutely delicious, the location is also perfect! They gave us small gift because its our honeymoon, we really happy and definitely will come back ♥.
