pros: the hotel is new, so facilities were not worn out. bed was comfy. toilet was clean with good water pressure. the receptionist was friendly and helpful. she even allowed us to store our luggage at the reception post checking out. extra points: it was close to a really good restaurant: dbalay which had cheap and delicious seafood options (local malay and western dishes were great as well), as well as a 7E and 24 hours laundry shop, all within walking distance. pantai pasir bogak is nearby and we found this beach less crowded and better? than teluk nipah beach.
cons: there were no pool options, or close access to the beach. there were also 3 levels and no lifts available. i did find the stairs a bit too narrow and was out of breath lugging our luggage 3 levels up. the room itself is basic but sufficient, considering you'd spend most of the time outdoors anyway. slightly on the higher side of pricing
