"Known for its strong waves, perfect for surfing, Sabang Beach in Baler is one of the prime spots to bring a surfboard and hang ten. Six hours away from Manila, Sabang Beach boasts beachfront resorts, often with surfing activities where beginners can rent surfboards and learn how to ride the waves. Sabang Beach is also known for having a myriad of restaurants and bars where visitors can have a great food trip right after surfing. "
Very nice experience. Simple, homey and very good proximity to where we wanted and needed to go around Sabang. Nanay Ofelia was very nice and accommodating of us. Favorite part is hanging out at the terrace upstairs at night and the all of their pets at the back (they have all kinds of pets we loved it)
So far, the best resort hotel, I had been. No complaints at all. Very nice accommodation, great food, excellent staff, nice view, nice location, and a very nice pool. Everything is perfect. Great job and will be going back here definitely.
Good location, it was just a few kilometres away from everything. The staff were very nice and attentive, especially Charlene and the guard. The view of the beach was obstructed because of the shoreline construction so there was also a bit of noise and dust. The cottages looked a bit worn down. There were termites and we would always find bamboo dust on our things and on the bed. On the plus side, the aircon is cold and the bathroom is clean and has a hot and cold showers. The food served at The Shack was very yummy. Must try are the chicken tandoori and chicken kebab paired with lassi.
Room is affordable. That is it. No TV, wifi is unreliable since a lot of guests using it turning it to snail connection. Moreover, some guests were loudly in the evening making it more difficult to sleep.
