Villaggio Hotel Abu Dhabi

There are plenty of Great hotels in Abu Dhabi - this isn’t one of them. Room access is bad, rooms are old and dated, bathrooms terrible. If you have other choices take them

Front desk are super rude and unhelpful. If I never go back it will be too soon. What a waste of money and time.

It was a terrible stay, the place is dirty, bed sheets was not clean, I found a long hair on the bed while am a bold man!! Towels are smelly and even if they change it you will I found many of them have a black spots from women’s eyeliner. Also I had to deal with some insects at the bathroom. The place doesn’t even know what does the world quite means as a lot of noise happening during sleeping time, sounds like washing machines and handwashing all the night. One more thing to mention, last day of my stay I have requested room services “cleaning” they ignored it and no one showed up.

Service at the hotel is not impressive

The hotel is old, tired and decorated for the 70s. It rained during our stay and rained in the room as well. The suite was a smoking room so everything smelled. The bed was really had & not very comfortable. Aircon units were linked so our room wasn't cooled/warmed by our controls. There's also an emergency light in the room so it's always light). Only plus for this hotel was the cleaning staff being really friendly.

Good and clean property. Dining options were fantastic.

It's the worst hotel ever to be honest. I can not believe that it is 4-star hotel. The photos showing hotel looked very neat and clean but worse than military camp. [Light] The hotel staff upgraded the room, but it was semi-basement. That's why it's not sunny. [Smell] When I opened the door, it smelled weird mixed with mold and smoking. It was non-smoking room. I asked them to change room, but they said there are no empty rooms. I couldn't sleep until early in the morning because of the smell. Even I tried to sleep in my car. [Service] I put up a sign asking not to clean the room, but the staff cleaned it and didn't provide towels and mat. So I asked the front desk to give me two towels, but I only received one. [Shower room] The water in the shower room is not warm. [Insect] There is a fly flying around in the room. [Massage] The massage at the massage shop in the hotel was a bit clumsy. And soon she asks me if I'll get a happy(?) massage. [Check Out] So I requested 2days earlier check-out. And it took about 40min. to proceed it at the front desk

nice and perfect for family

I had high expectations when I booked the room at Villagio for their Royal Suite. We were celebrating my friend's birthday but the hotel rejected our request to set up the room with even a balloon while booking. The room had a weird smell to it, the curtains were dirty, the pool was not cleaned for sure as there were some fragments, and the overall vibe wasn't perfect. The staff at the counter doing check-in greeted me with "Yes?" instead of a "Welcome to Villagio" or anything welcoming. While checkout, I got the security deposit back and kept waiting as the staff did not tell me the checkout has been complete. 2 minutes later I ask if it is over, and he says yes. No thank you, no greeting, Nothing. It was a very upsetting stay to be very honest. A birthday celebration went wrong and so not worth it. Instagram: @imelpinto

It was a good stay, the room we had is soo big and clean too..

Très bon accueil. Pour les taxis, je conseille de les demander à l'accueil en particulier le jour du départ à l'aéroport par exemple, car des fois il y avait peu de taxis qui passent devant l'hôtel. Il y a effectivement une piscine, mais vu son emplacement à proximité de la terrasse du restaurant, il était un peu difficile d'aller nager un peu.

Hotel propre, grande chambre, grande salle de douche, un peu vieillotte mais propre, personnel vraiment serviable et agréable.

Nice stay - big rooms - we stayed only one night, so we don't have so much experience.
