This nocturnal trip will introduce you to a different aspect of Kuala Lumpur. Get a bird's-eye view of the sparkling metropolis from the Petronas Twin Towers, wander through the bustling Chinatown night bazaar, take a stroll around Merdeka Square, and end the night with a Malaysian supper.
Your expedition begins with hotel pickup and a drive to the Petronas Twin Towers. Make your way up to the Sky Bridge suspended between the iconic skyscrapers and marvel at views of the sparkling city lights from 1,483 feet (452 m) high. After touching back down on the ground, head to Chinatown and step into a night bazaar. Browse narrow streets lined with traditional shops hawking spices, gadgets, and dishes like nasi lemak fragrant rice and Hainanese chicken rice. You can also learn about the Hindu and Buddhist temples in the area, such as the splendid Sri Mahamariamman temple and Chan See Shu Yuen temple.
Following Chinatown, visit Merdeka Square, a 656-foot (200-m) long stretch of green field surrounded by colonial and modern architecture. Learn about its history from your guide before setting off to Saloma Theatre Restaurant, one of Kuala Lumpur's most iconic restaurants. Here, enjoy a range of lip-smacking traditional Malaysian dishes, followed by a spectacular cultural show performed by Saloma dancers. After dinner, get transported back to your hotel.
