Good location but not very clean

Wry old and tired accomodation. Would not stay there again

Aapartment was not clean. There weee old biscuits on top of the cupboards and pens & food shoved under the lounge cushion. The pool was stagnant with dead flies in it. I used a pool net one day, it was as bad the next day. There’s a creepy crawly, taking up space, but not turned on. Hot water didn’t work during the day & internet was out for half the stay which meant there was no tv to keep kids quit while getting ready for your day. No power points in main bedroom, no air con or tv in main bedroom fan only has 1 (slow) working speed. Bathroom access in main bedroom, so no privacy, and stinking hot. Does have kitchen sink and a stove top provided (I didn’t use the stove top) which is unusual for motel rooms. Kitchen sink is very handy. Just need the kettle to boil for hot water when washing dishes during the day.

Our stay at Browns was not too bad. I noticed some of the bad reviews, and to be honest, you get what you pay for. in this regards Browns delivered to our expectations

Yhe place was clean, staff very helpful. Curtains dirty, leaking air conditioner. I have asked for some kind of refund for having to mop continuously. Towel and sheets never help. Fold out sofa not suitable for sleeping on.

It was ok. Room was large, has kitchen but no cooking facilities. Parking available but a "first in best dressed" situation. Undercover parking is not suited to large cars. Pool was nice. Staff were ok, not super helpful but also not useless. Convenient location opposite pacific fair and broadbeach south tram stop. Easy walk to the beach.

Kids running past room and riding scooters on balcony nearly knocking me over!!! Other than that nice spacious rooms 🙂

Suited our needs. A girls night out, only needed a bed for the night. Spacious room, with king bed and a single.

Lication waa good. Place was not safe. Noises occured for the three nights stay. Yelling, drunken people next door the apartment and other people smoking outside shouting. Rubbish was left outside, thr view was not nice. The whole building requires an immediate uplift. The only positive ia the staff.

Definitely not what the pictures show on the internet. The pool was out of order, cockroaches everywhere, the shower was not working properly, the beds were on wheels and kept moving, just a pit and way too expensive for what was offered

Rundown, mould all over bathroom floor. Photos of property obviously take in its hey day and digitised to look current.

Local area walking near everything casino and pacific fair

They double booked our room and notified us only 6 hours before check in and then set us up at another bodgey hotel 6kms away with a pair of meth heads in the room next door that were sizing us up to rob us.

The lack of on-site staff after hours. Road works, could not sleep. Lack of facilities to basically do any essential things like empty rubbish and wash clothes. All in all, camping fees would suffice for this venue if hot water wasn't provided.

Cheap and ok but waiting for a knockdown!

Glad we only stayed 1 night, its wasnt a pleasant experience. Left in so much pain from the awful pillows and bed. My partner moved to sleep on the lounge mid way through the night. We left some items behind on accident as we had to leave early but they were apparently unable to be locacted eventually got a call back that 1 of the 2 itrms were located.

Really nice lady at reception showed and checked out the room before going in Only issue I had was the electric jug didn’t have the base to it so couldn’t make a coffee or tea

It was cheaper than most and i now know why. Room was dirty, desperately needed maintenance and a renovation. Noise from 2 construction sites on either side and the light rail construction at the front. Holes and cracks in the concrete, car parking which was very tight to get in or out of. We stayed 1 night and left the next morning as it was not as good as the photos. Not impressed.
