It's fairly simple, you get what you pay for. I mean if you want a true 5 star resort or hotel, you have to pay for it, and there are plenty of those up and down the Gold Coast. If you want a nice comfortable room, a decent bed and a clean bathroom, at an affordable price, then this is the place for you. A small complex of 12 rooms, the rooms are quite large - especially if you have stayed in similarly priced accommodations in the UK, Europe and even parts of America. They are clean and on the Gold Coast Hwy, they are actually on Tambourine Street but the frontage is on the Hwy, not too noisy, no free pay TV, but good wifi access. You could easily walk down to the beach, I did, and there are a few eateries around the area. All in all a decent place to stay without the big price tag. Like I said at the beginning, you get what you pay for. Don't expect to stay like a King or Queen and you won't be disappointed. The only let down was lack of parking spots on the premises, which fill up fast so beware of that if you are driving there, or hiring a vehicle.

I loved how close to the beach this motel is. Clean room, lovely staff, and across the road is a 24 hour convenience store, ice-cream shop and a wonderful Italian restaurant.

Best priced option. Over the road from good eateries and 7/11. Parking was tight but available . Room adequate nothing flash with budget style maintainance. Clean.. Close to beach. Central to both ends of gold coast. Staff were a bit distant and not so friendly. Really good wi- fi....... all in all an enjoyable stay.

As much as its a small and older motel, it's in great condition. Carpets need replacement but it was a good clean room. The staff were absolutely beautiful and friendly.. very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Good location, walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Room was good for price. Parking was a pain but otherwise no complaints.

They put me in the worst room in the motel despite the motel being only half full

5 mins after I payed for my booking the hotel cancelled not only that, but now I have to wait 3 days for my money to be refunded.

The main bed in Room 3,should have been replaced 30 to 40 years ago. The springs have all collapsed causing a massive sag. Needs a good reno. The windows also need a good clean

The bed was hard and very bouncy, also on castors that slid all over the floor. the covers over the bed bases were dirty, the comforter between the sheets had marks on them) The bleach smell was so strong when we got there and it hung on for hours. Broken tiles in the bathroom and broken things hanging on the walls, no exhaust fan. The iron was broken and leaked water , ironing board had nothing under the cover so it was near impossible to iron. I dropped something and had to move the lounge and the floor under it was filthy ( tablets, noodles, dirt) The BBQS don’t work , the laundry was out of service The whole place needs some TLC It was an $80 a night place not over $200 It was a weekend away for me my hubby and our daughter after a horrible couple of years I’m so disappointed.

Check in experience was horrible even though called and emailed 3 days prior to check in for checkin instructions after office hours. Did not confirm reception will be closed at 5pm. Did not provide check in instructions until later afternoon of the check in date when we are already on the plane and had no Wi-Fi access in a foreign country. would not recommend if you don’t have access to local cellphones. Have almost gave up and tried to book somewhere else when we arrived with no one at reception and it was late and dark. Had to force to set phone on roaming and found the email re check in instructions.

This is value for money, but getting a little run down, but guess the price reflects that. Laundry was not available in the the time we were there. Would recommend for a budget short stay, but perhaps our 9 nights was a little long. However staff were helpful and friendly. Bus stops handy and seemed to be plenty of parking
