Mortdale Hotel

I thought the beds were modern with a nice big pillowtop, the bathrooms were clean and modern and the tv had all apps etc you needed. The air con was great and the fridge kept my drinks warm. It was easily accessible externally. Parking is not available on premises, but i was out from 9 till 5, and you can park on the street for 1 hour and after 6pm, you can stay as long as you want. Its also right next to the train station, but i dont recall ever hearing a train!

Newly refurbished hotel Spacious Good amenities Big bathroom Lift as well as a lovely wooden staircase to get to upper floors.. VERY quiet. 5 mins walk to train station, bus routes and shops.

Hotel was next to train station but still quiet. Pub,small casino and sports bar on ground floor but separate entrance for hotel guests and still quiet. Limited parking options so best if travelling by train. Great Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern restaurants only a minute's walk from Hotel. If driving best to have GPS to find location.

This is top value for money hotel. Clean, conveniently close to transport, great food and hands-on management service.

Great price & close to train station

The premises were very clean and well presented. The bed was very comfortable. The accommodation ambience for a Saturday night was very quiet which led to good night's sleep. Would happily stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Our hotel room was clean, spacious, bed was very comfortable. There is a pub and casino attached but no noise from either was heard in our room. The hotel room had been renovated recently and was very nice. the reason for a 3* rating was the check in. we arrived early and requested to leave our luggage and they said we couldn't do that but they would get our room ready first. When by 1PM which was their early check in time they hadn't called us, I asked them if our room was ready. They said it wasn't and check in time is 2PM. when I complained the manager came out and was very curt. He said he'd check to see if our room was ready. came back and said it was and hurriedly checked us in. not at all friendly and there is no check in desk so we were checked in at the pub counter along with people who were paying for their food and drinks. Not a pleasant start but the room was fine.

Very comfortable room & handy to Mortdale Station & the Cronulla & Illawarra lines for non-drivers. A little disorganised with manager not immediately available to check me in when I arrived at 4.30pm & tv remote missing from room (although management did quickly sort that problem). Noisy as a dining venue on a Friday night & large trolleys overflowing with dirty linen remained in the hallway during my stay, which was off-putting.

I enjoy my stay, next time I would like to have a standard room instead of a disable one, it did not feel comfortable

The property was very clean and the staff was very nice, helpful and courteous. The room was ample, comfortable and with lots of natural light. The tea and coffee facilities also very satisfactory. Overall an excellent experience, thank you.

Train station one minute distance

Really really nice room for the price. Super impressed, I’ll go out of my way to stay here again.
