Great staff and awesome location. Our room however was pretty ordinary. Smelt of vomit and some large red wine stains on carpet.

Stayed for 1 night while travelling through. As always, clean, welcoming and comfortable.

Onsite charging is great. Distance to beach is perfect no need to find parking.

Bedside lights not working

Good apart from no hot water one morning and restuarant service poor - ordered a 2 course meal and a drink - took over an hour to get the drink

Issues: 1. Bath linen basic, only 1 face washer. 2. Bistro food order only fair quality 3. On 10/12 lift not operating correctly

Friendly staff easy booking

Room wasn't particularly clean, and smelled funny. Basin was cracked, room decor / furnishings were very basic and tired looking. No mini bar in the room or anything complimentary just seemed cheap, even though absence of biscuits was attempted to be covered as woke. Also room temp (air con) was set as low as it could go but was still hot and stuffy. For the price, very disappointed.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are a good size. Breakfast was good value. Please make sure there is enough staff to cope with the demands at breakfast time.

No information was provided re car parking options when booking. When we arrived exhausted from travel - Check in complicated for a car guest. Had to drive to entrance. After trying to get a response on the intercom had to drive aside and Stop aside and go to office - check in and pay $30 parking and then go down to car and try find a place to park - signage in park also very poor. Room ok - surprisingly there was coffee/tea making facilities but no biscuits! Mini fridge was empty!

Great spot everything in walking distance and so close to beach

The hotel is in a great location at Newcastle Beach close to restaurants and shops. The area is very walkable. They only ever seemed to have one person at the front desk and when we checked in there was no help with the bags other than pointing out the baggage cart. When we asked for help with the bags we were told that we would have to wait 45 minutes for any help (from the car to the room). The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. There was a nasty stain on the bed cover and in the three days I stayed at the hotel, the bed cover was not changed and it was clear that no one inspected it or they surely would have changed it. Also, washing of the coffee cups in the room was totally inadequate. There were coffee stains on the outside the the mugs that were presented as clean and ready for use.

Place is a rip off, internet doesn't work and staff are horrid
