Here is one of Austria's most famous art museums that you should definitely visit. The Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna is located inside a grand building that looks like it could pass for a palace. It was opened in 1891 by Emperor Franz Joseph I of the notable House of Habsburg, as a place to store the family's large art collection that they've managed to gather for over 600 years. Featuring works by Caravaggio, Titian, and more artworks that go all the way back to Ancient Egypt and Classical Rome. The interior of the luxuriously designed Kunsthistorisches Museum is also a sight to behold, with marble floors and gold leaf.
