— What You Can Expect —

Escape the hustle and bustle of Taipei and visit Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area, where history and nature coexist. Under the Japanese era, the mountain was developed for its forestry resources, leaving twisting pathways and tracks that produced a unique experience that makes Taipingshan a must-visit for people who enjoy the great outdoors.

Enjoy the staple "double bath" experience in misty Taipingshan. Take a "forest bath," which can cleanse and detoxify your mind and spirit. Explore the various mountainscapes following through forests of cypress and hemlock trees and walk on the mossy road on Jianqing Huaigu Trail.

Try Bong Bong Train, which has created the modern sightseeing culture of “Taiwan's Trolley” while also retaining the past culture of forestry production. The trolley with the open carriage allows you to be fully immersed in nature. During the ride, tourists travel through the wood and iron bridges, embracing the breath of nature.

Jianqing Huaigu Trail is the only one in Taiwan to be selected as the 28 most beautiful trails in the world. Formerly known as Taiping Mountain Forest Railway, The old railway trail is now adorned with moss and greeted by the occasional mist, becoming a fairyland on earth.

Warm your soul and body at the "hot spring bath" at the end of the lush and misty mountain walk. Immerse yourself in nature by soaking in the healing hot spring that flows from deep within the mountain rocks. Try DIY boiling various items above the volcanic cone, which will impart an exceptional flavor to the food.

Get a glimpse of Cueifong Lake in Taiping Mountain, the largest alpine lake in Taiwan, and the highest lake in Yilan. Take a refreshing walk on the trail around the lake and clear your mind. (Charter tour only)
