Hotels near Phra Nang Cave (Princess Cave)

I recently stayed at The Phu Beach Ao Nang, and while there were some good points, a few things left me disappointed. The hotel itself has a nice layout and the pool area is a highlight, but they hosted a pool party with extremely loud music—think concert-level noise—from the afternoon until around 10 pm, which made it hard to relax in the room. There were also quite a few ants in my room, and I was surprised to find that they provided torn towels. On the positive side, I really appreciated the excellent service from the Malay male receptionist who was very helpful and welcoming. It would also be fantastic if the hotel could consider offering a halal breakfast option to better cater to Muslim guests.

The location is very good. The bed is very comfortable.

The room is nice, but the bed and floor feel too moist. The staffs and service were great. Breakfast was also OK. But the neighbor at the room next to mine was very noisy.

Great location, right opposite entrance to the beach. Walking distance to Ao Nang Landmark. Swimming pool a little small and chairs not enough. Usually full so if want sun tanning be sure book your chair early. Free upgrade and manage to get early check-in (around 1pm). Room are spacious and clean. Service is good and staff are friendly and speak English well.

Staff were always there to help with a smile. Had left behind a wallet with a substantial amount of money, which was unfortunately stuck underneath the mat of the safe. Though alerted immediately upon check out, the wallet was not found by staff nor the next occupant till 3 days later by staff who immediately contacted us. The money was transferred to us upon verification. All. Impressed.

I want to give 4.5 stars as I find it decent, clean, and quiet. The owner is very friendly and kind. We did not subscribe to any breakfast, yet the owner kindly provided complimentary breakfast for us to try the local kuek delight and toast bread and jam with coffee and chocolate drink. If you like to live near to the Aonang beach, yet do not like the rowdiness of all the bars and nite life, then you will like this hotel. But it is very simple and basic. Outside the hotel, there is restaurant next to it, and also a fruit store across. I like to get my refreshing coconut drinks here. 🤗. Another thing I like is, just 50 meters walk from the hotel to the main road, there are many eating places whether is day or nite. I especially like to walk down the street in the morning to join the locals to eat their favourite foods at their popular stores. It was very interesting, cheap and nice. 👍.
