Good location but very noisy an property could do with refurbishment

I arrived at 12pm and the reception was unmanned so I rang the number on the door and the man said, yeah mate someone will be back in an hour! (Which Hotel or Motel closes during the day for lunch). So that’s the first issue. The man was very short and sharp with greeting me when I came back and made a major point that breakfast is closed at 8:30AM sharp. I got to the room after taking a while to find it coz all the signage has come off and I sat on the bed and it collapsed. I looked underneath and the two end wheels had clearly come out but no one bothered to put them back in. They were just shoved under the bed. I then heard this vibrating noise every 30 seconds to a minute and it was annoying so I complained about that and advised him of the bed and he says, oh **** No mention of changing rooms or fixing it. He said, Monday morning we will attend to it. I then contacted Hotels.com and asked what can I do about a refund or get a free night the next night. They contacted him and he was obviously having a bad day and he came over, knocked on the door, Told me to leave the property and I had 15 minutes to get out. He was looking around the room for the key and snatched it off me and stormed off. I tried to reason with him but he was not having anything to do with it. I don’t recommend to stay in the White Lace. Extremely bad service and rooms and just a bit of a joke.

Didn’t serve Breakfast after being mention that it’s including stay.

The rooms are vey dated and need renovating badly. The free breakfast was terrible all the cereals were stale.

Unfortunately had car trouble & didn’t get there

Property was very dusty and also had hairs in the bathroom from the previous clients Room smelt very musty

Room wasn’t as clean as it should be bed linen didn’t fit the entire bed only came up half way so only the body was only on half mattress Aircon very dirty not cleaned Mould on the door and hinges

Omg , we stayed in number 27 ,paid for a double bed and queen , then person next door was screaming cause kids were playing the game knocking and run omg, the the reception manager was abrupt and bid rude , however room clean establishment little bit run down , felt unsafe

Staff member pleasant. Room conditions poor - no smoke alarm (found alarm cover in cupboard), servery bench repairs not finished and door handles missing, black hair in bottom drawer of vanity (my hair is blonde), vanity plug damaged and constant hum in room (unable to locate)

Great motel, 3 night stay for business. Great staff

Unfortunately one of the most rundown dirty motels we’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t take my shoes off as the carpet was that stained it was disgusting. Very old and outdated.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a good nights sleep.

Hotel Manager was very accommodating and it was a hassle free, enjoyable stay. Our room was massive, plenty of cupboard space, the entire place was free of riff raff and all other guests were comfortable and socialised with ease

Propertt is very clean and in a good area

My stay was great - easy to get through the office and staff member was friendly

Apart from the noise of the planes it was nice. Rooms need a little refurbishment but otherwise good.

Even though this place is cheap i would not come again. The property is extremely tired and needs alot of work. Curtains were falling of the rails, toaster shorted out the power, stayed 4 nights with no room cleaning, dishes at breakfast are all dirty. The room has a terrible smell. I asked for more toilet paper which was delivered however cleaner just ignored the wet towels on the ground.
