I asked for a room upgrade based on VIP status and was denied. The TV in the room did not work well and had issues connecting to my services. I had order food twice in the lounge that did not come. Overall place was nice and staff was friendly, but the issues listed above prevents this from being rated 5 stars.

Tout était parfait, sauf le spa, environnement froid. La salle de massage était très claire, pas baissé le store et pas de musique d'ambiance.

The Nespresso machines don’t work, neither did the TV properly. I would recommend they get French Presses and electric kettles. The bathroom soaps and such smelled heavenly, and I have scent allergies it they didn’t bother me at all. The Spa was great and the area is beautiful.

Beautiful and close to charming town of Wakefield. Advertised as a spa, however, the hot-tub and sauna were lukewarm and the former's jets were broken. My wife asked for a fan to help her sleep and the staff didn’t know where one could be found. Other than the last two negatives, everything else was first class.

The property need signs and should have a pool open,one of the hot tub or jacuzzi was not open and I had to walk to the other property in the cold to access to one that it not has a entrance that you can find easily, and I went to celebrate my anniversary and they don even leave a paper saying something and I told them at the time for the booking that I was celebrating.

Beautiful area, on site restaurant was outstanding. We were in deluxe Mill Inn Queen. Disappointed that there was no fireplace ( apparently, although same category, you have to ask for these rooms specifically). The room was large, but very dated, worn furnishings. It did not have the cozy feel we were hoping for. Walls are very thin- could hear conversations of guests in adjoining room very clearly. Heating system very loud, making to hard to sleep.

From our arrival parking was easy and early checkin was a breeze. Our room was on the fourth floor which meant taking the elevator to the third and then stairs to the fourth, not an issue for us as we don’t have mobility issues. The grounds were immaculately kept and there were several lit fire pits upon our arrival, great for sitting with a coffee/cocktail and enjoying the sound of the falls. The hot-tub offered excellent views day or night. Our dinner at the bistro was excellent, limited options but excellent. The games area was phenomenal, velvet couches, stone double sided wood burning fireplace capped off the ambiance.

Our wonderful room had a view on the falls. Bed was super comfortable.

Nice gateway spot. Definitely should have car if you plan to visit.

Although a beautiful resort, it’s Options for breakfast we’re not good because it was either $28 For a very large breakfast or walk down a long hill and back up again to find alternative add another place. As I am a senior woman and I was travelling alone and did not have my own vehicle that made things very difficult for me. The other thing I was not prepared for was the fact that my room was in a building separate from the main building and to walk back-and-forth for meals in the dark was difficult for me. That should all have been made clear.

Views, service, dining amazing fall getaway. Just loved it.

The front desk staff were freindly and welcoming. The hotel restaurant staff was extremely rude. I immediately reported this behavior to management. The hotel manager talked to the two men working in the restaurant and they admitted to her that they were rude in their remarks to me, (asking, in an angry voice, what I was doing there). I am White and my husband is Black, and I felt this was perhaps a reason for their offensive behavior. The manager assured me they were just overwhelmed by a busy day. She also suggested that because they are French speaking, that perhaps they just “sounded” rude when speaking English. I explained to her that my husband and I would not stay the night and expected a full refund. She offered to wave the room fee if we would stay, but the experience was so hurtful that we decided not to stay.

The front desk staff were not too friendly and professional. I liked the walking trails.

Gorgeous retreat for the weekend. Beautiful room, lovely swimming pool and hot tub and dinner was absolutely amazing!

Absolutely beautiful and perfect escape from day to day life!

To make our stay more comfortable, We’d appreciate any recommendations for local attractions or dining options. Also, if you have any hotel/spa rules or quirks we should know about, please share. A bit of extra space in the fridge would be great too. Looking forward to enjoying our time here.
