Friendly Staff , very large room to what we normally expect which was pleasant surprise just bit outdated and definitely needs an update and lick of paint.

To be honest I was pretty impressed with the room, there was a double and a single bed, two sofas, some chairs, a desk and a good size TV that I could sign in on to watch iPlayer. What annoyed me more than anything was the woman on the front desk for check-in. She was clearly doing something when we arrived to check-in (which was late in the day but not outside the check-in hours) and instead of any sort of greeting she just stared at me, considering I had bags with me I was obviously there to check-in, she could have said hello, or asked me my name but she just stared for a good five seconds without saying anything. Her tone was quite off and even my teen thought she was unpleasant and they don't pay attention to anything.

Room was freezing cold - as the heater was turned off and barely heated the room with it on full all night. Even the electric towel rail had been disconnected in the bathroom leaving that room also freezing cold. The outside corridor was warmer - should have slept there ! Everything was clean though and food in the evening was good. Although the breakfast was just average. Nothing special really about the hotel, it’s located right next to a dual carriage way which is difficult to get out onto when leaving in the morning.

Well located & reasonable value for money. Bit dated inside... & in bedrooms - clean though, and bedrooms of a large size.

Pros: Quiet hotel, plenty of parking, easy to get to, cheap rooms, dog friendly, a decent amount of land to walk the dog. Cons: No staff available to help move rooms when toilet blocked - had to go down to reception on crutches in my Pj's to get a new room key and then struggled moving our belongings at 10pm when very tired, Hotel is very dated Decor-wise, reminded us of The Shining hotel, bathroom just looks very worn and used, but clean enough, no lift.

The hotel was clean, had wifi, and ok breakfast. Good parking facilities. I slept well, but my partner didn't as the bed was too soft. Ok for a short stay.

I’m up in Coventry almost every other week and I always stay here! The service is consistent. It’s clean and the rooms are a good size. I will always recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel that was once a Holiday Inn. Rooms round the back are nice and quiet.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the people in the rooms next to me were very loud through out the evening and morning. there were not many options for food and very limited seating spaces.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed here and it’s been amazing. Staff are super friendly. I do use a wheelchair and I had no problems getting about and using the facilities. Overall a great place to stay.

Comfortable spacious room - could have been cleaner and more updated. Noted that testing on electrical equipment was out of date due 2015/16!! Breakfast not included which I feel for the price should have been. Pleasant friendly staff but won’t be staying again

Hotel itself is a bit outdated ( I quite liked that) very clean and staff polite happy and helpful food nice and reasonably priced room was a good size for 2 adults and an 8 year old the only negative for me was my bed (king size) mattress was to soft and tended to fold in the middle, I’m sure staff would have sorted if I asked. On the whole we had a pleasant 2 night stay and I would definitely stay again 8.5 out of 10. I would definitely recommend if looking for a cheap place to stay.

Restaurant staff were very pleasant and accommodating with our requests. Room was very quiet.

Stayed a few times for work purposes. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice big rooms with a bath and shower (or at least mine were!). Dated decor in rooms but comfy with work desk and seating. Great wifi. Lovely food in the bar/restaurant and breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Free parking, lots of availability. Easy check in and out. Will definitely return😊
