Ok stay

For what it was it was just what I needed, internet was surprisingly decent, bed was comfortable and shower was decent! So everything I needed and it done the job, was great!

It's a nice clean hotel usually very quiet but Wednesday night too many guests banging doors and a very squeaky bed next door!!! Other than that it's a good place

Good for a motorway ‘hotel’. Convenient, clean, spacious, excellent shower and comfy bed. Some things were a little tired - loose toilet seat, damaged surface where the kettle sits, hairdryer didn’t work. Helpful management.

We've stayed at this Days Inn quite a few times and always found it acceptable. We were quite disappointed this time to find the shower floor was dirty and we felt unable to use the shower. The other big issue was finding that the heating was off in the room - on the coldest day of the year !!!! The wall mounted heater was obviously known not to be working because a portable heater had been put in the room - l just wish they had switched it on before we checked in - which was after 8pm.by the way.

We stayed here a few years ago and it's gone to seed since. Mould in the bathroom, stains on the walls and floors, it's been halfway cleaned but everything is so scuffed and worn that it'd need a lot of elbow grease. Note if you're coming from Winchester, whilst the junction is only 5 miles away, you need to take an extra 16 mile round trip to the next junction to get on the correct carriageway. Checkin was fine though, the room was well laid out and the beds pretty comfy although it smelled a bit funky.

Awful place to stay, please avoid if possible. Rooms are not clean, bathroom was disgusting, unhygienic. Currently reporting with photographs to environmental health. Expected basic but clean room late evening on our journey to Portsmouth. Quite shocked with the level of filth

We had a friendly welcome and given clear instructions to find our room. Hotel is basic and not in the best condition but has all you need for an overnight stay

Cheap and cheerful for a one/two night stay, when all you needed was a comfy bed and a shower in the mroning.

This hotel has started taking immigrants who like to party and talk all night

We had to ask for a room change, as the room we were given was totally insufficient. As a couple, we wanted a double bed, but there were two single beds at either side of the room. The pillows were up against the wall to hide dirty marks. The room was very dark and uninviting. Our replacement room with the double bed was not much better. There were holes in the wall where there were once pictures and one had a screw showing from it. There were no additional bedside chairs to sit on. The bathroom had black marks on the shower floor and the tiles had black marks of mould. The extractor in the shower was rusted. In addition, the window handle was broken and could not be closed properly. Overall, the hotel is letting your company down by what we have seen. it is in need of refurbishment in order to fix all the problems we saw. It needs a facelift throughout to make it look more appealing. As a result, we will not be staying there again, as other hotel chains offer a more pleasant environment to the one that resembles a student halls of residence.

Stay as expected for a days inn but no breakfast honoured on booking and all they do is a cold bagged breakfast which I was overcharged for and then told I had to pay again which I refused...This is not good and looking at avoiding days inn in the future ... Funny how you cannot order breakfast on a days inn booking anymore but somehow hotels think I am lieing.....

Friendly young woman on reception. Corridors and stairs clean and bright. Room disappointing - cobwebs, damage to walls, badly cracked sink, in need of decoration

We had no hot water in the morning, so couldn't shower.

On entering the room we could smell what appeared to be dettol and damp. We opened the window and found 3 dirty nappies lying outside next to a rat trap. That said, the chap on reception was very nice and the bed was very comfortable.
