エクスペディアの表示は1泊8000円程度だったのに、サービス料は税金という名のもとに13000円が課せられ、一泊は結局21000円に。他のブッキングサイトより安く泊まれる訳ではないので注意。 宿泊施設ではなく、民泊の延長でやっているので、看板なども出ておらず、セルフチェックイン方式。事前に届いていると言われたチェックイン方法が届いておらず、30分ほど雪の中立ち往生。翌日のチェックアウト後に荷物を預かってくれると言われたが、そこも無人で対応されず。電話は通じると親切だが、常に通じるわけではない。キッチンを特に使わないのであれば、普通にホテルを探した方が良いと思います。 シャワーの水も、硫黄臭がして、出も悪く、水はけも悪い。 一見綺麗で、ロケーションも良く、居心地はいいですが、かゆいところに手が届かない宿泊施設でした。アイスランドの人たちの優しさに触れるには、やはりフロントに人がいるところがいいと思います。

Está propiedad es un engaño total! Se supone que es un Penthouse de lujo y en realidad está en pésimas condiciones! El apartamento huele a caño y, a pesar de que solicité que arreglaran desde el día uno, nunca hicieron nada para quitar la peste. Las ventanas y puertas no sirven correctamente: las ventanas se atoran y no se pueden abrir bien, las puertas son súper difíciles de abrir o cerrar, el vidrio del techo está roto y se mete el agua, las ventanas no están bien selladas y se mete el aire. La limpieza del apartamento es terrible hay muchísimo polvo por todos lados, especialmente debajo de las canas, la lavadora, refrigerador y lavavajillas no están en buen estado y no funcionan bien. Hay muchos focos fundidos y lámparas que no sirven. El baño secundario está terrible! No tiene ventilación, el piso está lleno de hongos, la cortina tiene hongos! Horrible de verdad! Las habitaciones no tienen clóset, salvo una de ellas y otra tiene espacio para colgar 4 cosas. El edificio está viejo y súper maltratado, la alfombra de las escaleras está sucia, rota y huele mal. Las paredes están súper manchadas y tienen grietas. No hay elevador y tienes que subir 3 pisos con maletas. El personal de limpieza es muy grosero y se molestó cuando me quejé del olor. Aunque el departamento está bien ubicado, hay demasiado ruido afuera y como las ventanas no están selladas se escucha mucho dentro. Exijo una compensación

I’ve travelled all around the world but I must say, Reykjavik has my heart. In part was because of this cozy apartment that feels like home. It’s conveniently located in a central area of Reykjavík, which was walking distance to many restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Both BSI and the harbour were 10 minute walks and got to enjoy excursions outside of Reykjavík. As a female traveller, neighborhood felt safe and the building was secure. Beds were cozy, linens were clean, check in/out was seamless. We did arrive in the early morning so it was dark and couldn’t see where the key box was and contacted the hosts who replied very quickly. We’ve decided that we’re coming back next year and definitely going to stay here.

There was a steel commercial banner for a shop right below the window. With the strong wind of Reykyavick, the steel banner was making huge noise all night (imagine someone banging on a steel door all night). We could barely sleep because of that noise. The check-out time of 10am was a bit early, especially when the owner requested us to remove all the bed linen off the bed, put all dishes in the washing machine, and take out trash.

Apartment with 2 bedrooms. Kitchen was fully equipped. Situated on Rainbow Street.

Perfectly located in the capital, lots of grocery options, souvenir shops nearby. Good space to share for 3 people, only down side is that the water from taps smelled obnoxious, be it the toilets or kitchen sink, it all smell really bad and not suitable for drinking.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect for location. Right at the start of Rainbow street. Might get loud at night, but we did not mind. Easy to find. So nice to be right outside of great shops and restaurants

The apartment is right overlooking the rainbow road so a fantastic location. Parking avaliable for 3hrs or free overnight just around yhe corner. The rest of the time if we were not out we parked for free up at the big church, only a 5 min walk away. Apartment was super lovely inside, and beds really comfy! Wish there had been sofa room for 5 ppl and not three!! Only downside was the noise from outside late at night. It was quite bad, and Fri/sat morning loads of broken glass outside the gate everywhere.. plus road sweepers at 6.30am each morning..Not the properties fault but something to bear in mind if like me your a light sleeper.. that being said i would definitely come bk! Many thanks.

Great apartment located at walking distance from the major attractions of Reykjavík. The room overlooking the Main Street is quite noisy due to the garbage collection scheduled early in the morning

The place is nicely renovated, and the area and location are convenient. However, finding our room was a challenge due to unclear directions, and communication with the hosting company was disappointing. The room was listed under a different name than expected, which caused confusion. We also noticed a broken window upon arrival. On checkout, guests are asked to complete tasks like running the dishwasher, removing bed sheets, and taking out the trash, which feels like taking on part of the cleaning responsibilities. While the location is great, it would be better if guests weren’t expected to handle so much of the cleaning themselves.

Directions to get in to the apartment were a little confusing bc of the similar sounding names of the rooms and the door code/key situation. But otherwise, very clean and nice place to stay in a central location of Reykjavik. Plenty of space and had everything needed to make it feel comfortable.

The shower was clogged and there was sewer smell in the room

It was fun being right next to rainbow road! The stairs getting to the apartment need some work, but the apartment itself was nice and had a great view. Would be a great location for people who want to be close to restaurants, shopping and night life. One challenge was finding parking and gettinf iur luggage there. We stayed on a friday night and needed to walk atleast half a mile with luggage on bumpy sidewalks (or on the road when there weren't sidewalks) to get to the apartment.

Harder to locate in the night, despite having the address, the property is in the street right in front of the church or the rainbow spot. Parking is a challenge and have to find a paid one late in the night.

Right in the middle of a shopping area and with lots of restaurants around. A tour bus bus too is nearby, as well as public transit routes making it easy to move without a car. Sofa bed was very worn and uncomfortable (both couch and pull out bed.

Amazing location, could not get better! Huge windows overlooking Rainbow Street. Great for street people watching with a cup of tea. Location to all parts of the city so easy to get to from this location. We were so pleased with our stay. Apartment was very clean and we arrived to some groceries which was incredibly helpful. Dishwasher works well. Sofa bed very large and quite comfy. Plenty of space for a group of 3, would also be OK for 4. It had a coat hanging and shoe rack area... can't tell you how helpful this was! Sounds crazy, but trust me it makes such a difference when you have huge coats and lots of dirty walking boots/shoes. The only bad point was the noise. It was very very noisy because of it's location. It was not a problem for us but bring ear plugs if prefer not to be bothered by noise. I would not let this put you off, it was a brilliant place to stay. I would definitely look to stay here for my next visit.
