Went there with my partner for a romantic trip. I often go to bali and stay at other villas. Therefore, when I stayed at Vinila, I could immediately identify the problems there. Communication with yanik was really good when I requested for romantic dinner and other set up to be done. What makes us so disappointed is the service. We stayed for 3 nights with bathrobe available only for the first night. We only had swimming pool towel for 2 nights. No restock at all! There were no place to hang swimwear after swimming. Here comes the funny part on breakfast. We ordered American set twice. During the first day, we were given 2 sausages each. On the last day, we were given 1 sausage??? So, what's the SOP? Here comes the funny one. During the day of checkout, after I solved the bill, they did not ask for the villa key to be returned and I almost forgot to return them! After realizing it, I quickly U turn back to return it. Security there were not helpful either. No one helped in taking our luggage onto the car, they were just staring at us. We went out till 5am in the morning, when we arrive back to the hotel, there were no one at the security post and reception. I had to keep shouting for someone and still no one responded. After 0630, I then called reception and finally someone answered! It was really so ridiculous having to find someone for more than an hour! Last point that was really weird was that all villas are equipped with 3 bed rooms, therefore when you book a 1 bed room villa, they would lock the other 2 rooms. I would rather be paying for a compound that I could make full use of. Look at all other villa resorts, they have a 1, 2, 3 rooms villa and customers paid for the whole compound, not part of it! Overall, location private, Vinila really needs to train their staff better. People who often stayed at top notch villa with the price can definitely tell the differences with the services and amenities in the villa. Maybe if you had a big group of family, we would recommend it. But if you are a couple or you are very particular about service, then maybe this place is not for you as you could get better with the price paid. I also would like to thank Ibu Yanik for all her help and fast correspondence. Regretfully, we did not get to meet when I was at Vinila but I appreciate your help.
