Our room was nice if a little dated. Nice bathroom. Cute little balcony. AC worked well. Staff was nice but some of them didn’t speak English very well so bring your translator. Cute garden bar. Excellent location.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Wasn't cleaned before we checked in. Hair on the floor in the bathroom. Outdated everything. Just gross. When we checked out the next morning (because we couldn't find another hotel at midnight), they wouldn't even wave the 15 euro parking fee.

Mycket låg standard! Betalade 8000 kronor för två nätter som rankades som fyrstjärnigt hotell med sämre standard än bed & breakfast. Första natten blev en mardröm med ett hemskt rum från sextiotalet utan AC i 40c värme utan kompensation utan endast rum byte. Överlag ett mycket slitet, gammalt och sunkigt hotell.

Ascot hotel comes highly recommended! A family owned hotel in a prime location. All restaurants and shopping is down the street. The hotel is quaint with an old Italian feel. It’s not a luxury hotel if that’s what you prefer . Our group of 8 agree and we would definitely stay here again. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating .
They all spoke English as well as Italian. With all the fine restaurants in Sorrento we never ate at the hotel with the exception of a complimentary breakfast ( which was fine).

The hotel staff were friendly but the rooms were outdated and very small. There was hot water in showers and breakfast was not bad. Would visit again if rooms were a little more bigger and up to date, but for the price compared to other hotels it was fair.

Great location. Very kind staff.
We felt a little uncomfortable with extra pillows and blankets - in bags but not sealed to ensure freshness. Overall outdated and mattresses and pillows need replaced. We had 4 rooms and it was the same in all.

The hotel was great and most of the staff, but the front desk person was unfriendly and he did not make us feel welcome at all. Always a frown and a short answer. Made you feel like you were bothering him every time you asked for or about something.

Room had hair on floor behind front door upon arrival. Bed had a plastic matress protector..who does that. Hot and uncomfortable. Linens were tired. Breakfast room was about show. Some tables set up with linen napkins and full cutlery but waiter from Faulty Towers ushered you to a table with minimum setup, easier for him I guess. Fruit cocktail out of a can! Who does that? Over priced but near a laundramat.

Spent 4 days in Sorrento with all 3 nights in this perfectly located hotel. The staff is super friendly and service is top of the line. Clean and tidy with In-house parking garage (prebook and daily fee).
A less noisy Air-con and a top layer double bed mattress would lift it to top score. But price-value factor is as good as it gets 😀👍
Will definitely recommend this place as Sorrento accommodation and use it again myself whenever we come back 😀

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ascot! The staff are friendly & helpful, especially at breakfast. The are a lot of food options at breakfast & the coffee is super delicious - probably the best hotel coffee I’ve ever had!
The room was clean & a good size; the bed was comfy & the shower had good water pressure. It was nice to have a balcony that overlooked the street.
The pool & area around it for sunbaking was fantastic! Lots of sun beds & pool towels are available from reception. The pool water was cool & you thankfully don’t stink of chlorine when you get out.
The hotel is well located, you’re in the Sorrento town centre within minutes; the beaches & Marina Grande are also a short walk away.
I'd love to stay here again & I'd highly recommend it to family & friends.
