We liked the guest house inside, our room was spacious and the beds were a good size, although the bathroom was small. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check in and check out was really easy. We didn’t love the location, we had booked a ‘sea view’ room, but you could only see the sea from the balcony, our room was overlooking the side street and it looked out onto a derelict building plot which was messy and dirty. It was a convenient location and you could reach the harbour really easily, so very quick to pop in and out. We were only here for 2 nights at the end of our trip as we spent most of it on Gozo and we wanted to see a bit of Malta before we left, I think in hindsight one night here would have been enough, it would be easy to see this area and fit in a boat trip etc in one day.

Overall, it was a great experience with this hotel. Very professional and accommodating staff. Room was very clean with all the necessary accessories.

Beautiful property. Very close to the harbour. Easy check-in and out. A great base for exploring the area.

We loved our stay at Portview! Everything was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, the bed and pillows were excellent. The management had a complimentary bottle of wine and two big bottles of water in the room for us. There was also a small fridge, safe and dehumidifier in the room. Lots of restaurants nearby and less than a block away from the lovely Marsaxlokk harbor front and a bus stop. Breakfast was included and was excellent....coffee, juice, cold cuts, fruit, toast, cereal, yogurt and fresh baked mini croissants! Breakfast was served on a scenic terrace which was also a great place for afternoon coffee or tea. We would definitely stay here again!!

Very nice hotel with excellent service

We had a lovely stay at the Port View. Jennella (apologies for the spelling) Charmaine and Carole were super friendly and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and the A/C was a blessing! Breakfast was good and had everything you needed to set you up for the day. Although we arrived late at night, we’d let the hotel know, so check in was easy and our keycard waiting for us!

Even on check out day, we could leave our luggage there and there was an extra room where you could take a shower and change before your flight. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were even allowed to use the breakfast area at night. If you’re looking for a less touristic area, this is the right spot.

Alojamento bem localizado, quarto limpo e com o necessário, incluindo frigorifico e ar condicionado. Staff atencioso e simpático, chek-in tardio sem problema. Bom pequeno almoço e serviço num rooftop com vista para o Porto.

Staff was friendly, it was clean, the breakfast had lots of options. Highly recommend it. The fishing village is gorgeous, enchanting.

Point positif: la situation près du port. Quant au reste ne mérite pas ses étoiles et sa bonne note.Arrives à 17h59, nous avons trouvé porte close et les directives données au téléphone étaient quasi incompréhensibles et fort peu aimables. Heureusement dépannés par des résidents qui sortaient. Petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus. Dans la chambre, de bonne taille , nombreux accessoires à revoir: poignée de douche, fenêtre de la salle de bain, lunette de wc, support mural de douche. . Bref , excellente situation mais grande déception pour le reste compte tenu du Prix et de la note. Une bouteille de vin offerte mais cela ne dispense pas d’un minimum d’accueil.

Located few steps away from the harbor with many restaurants and a market during the day. Quiet and comfortable room, nice breakfast with a view over harbor.

It is a lovely guest house with an amiable staff, a charming breakfast terrace, and spacious and comfortable rooms for a great price for value.

The staff were very helpful, so genuine and polite. I had a bit of trouble when I lost something and they were very good and supportive. When I wanted to stay an extra night, they accommodated me immediately. Thank you!

Good location with easy access to public transportation.

We were welcomed very warmly at Port View and, throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. It is a delightful warm, comfortable and ultra clean place.in a quiet street just up from the harbour. Everything has been well thought out and all sorts of little details added. We were even welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine and bottle of water on arrival, so kind and generous. The owner is very friendly in the best possible way and offered us any tips we wanted on the local area.
