[Without prejudice] The spa service needs improvement. The therapist had long nails when performing the massage and it hurts when the nail pressed against the skin. It was informed to her but due to language barrier, she could not understand what was said. Besides that, halfway through the massage, she went out of the therapy room for a long time without closing the room door. My wife was left exposed for a while till she realize this and covered herself immediately. Upon ending of massage, the cashier was no where to be seen and there was a blackout in the hotel that rendered the lift unusable. In the pitch of darkness, and the guidance of staff who is also preparing to leave we walked down from Level 6 to Level 2. The whole experience was a disaster. Aside from that, the room and facilities does not seem as what is shown in the photos, it was dark and dingy. It has an old layout and the bathroom drainage system is not working well. Bath water tends to flow out from the bathing area to the sink. We had to place a towel to temporarily prevent the water from flowing to the room. The air condition was also not functioning well. We had a hot night even though the AC was switched to maximum coolness. The whole hotel gives us the creeps. The housekeeping is not properly done. In our room, we noticed that the pillows are dirty, There were stains on the bed pillows and the extra pillows kept in the cabinet. When requested for extra pillows, instead of bringing new ones, they brought pillow case instead and tried to wrap the dirty pillow with the new pillow case and give it to us. We did not accept this at all and complained to the front desk. The staff assured us new pillows and sheets will be given to us when we come back later to collect. This whole experience made up our mind to check out immediately the next morning to find another hotel for our next stay. We checked out early, stayed for 1 night instead of 2 nights. The front desk manager was offering to upgrade the room and extra massage but this whole experience, we just want to run out from this hotel immediately. We explained to the manager about my wife's horror experience at the spa and request for discount or waiver however, we were told that the best they can offer is a complementary massage session. We paid in full and left. Never to come back again. The hospitality by the front desk is good and they really do capture our hearts in the beginning when we arrive. Their service and facility on the other hand did the other way around. They need to renew their hotel look and feel and have standards to their housekeeping values. There were photos taken but, we won't be showing it here as its uncomfortable to see.
