Sehr gutes Hotel☺️

It’s in the perfect location for being in the centre and the will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are also really well sized for the price.

Short walk to metro and trams. Room had very little clothes storage, no drawers and tiny shelf and hanging facilities. Very limited toiletries storage. One bedside table was very small. Need hooks for hanging outerwear. Only one hard chair in double room. Bar staff not very friendly.

Unkompliziert und freundlich, sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Canal-View, das war sehr schön und ganz ruhig. In der Nähe viele Cafés und auch Sehenswürdigkeiten. Gerne wieder

The staff when we arrived was amazing really friendly and explained local things for us to visit. This is our 8th time viewing the property. When we noticed when we was leaving that some of our items have been taken , we had a bag of food we was taking home and that was taken. Nothing was done once told staff as we was checking out they said to write on email which we have and had no response.

Solid choice for a budget holiday stay

This IBIS hotel is in an excellent location. We arrived at the airport and used public transportation and walked a short distance to arrive. If you are staying one or two nights, you might find the room acceptable, but we stayed 6 nights and experienced multiple issues. Upon arrival I usually unpack; however, there is no place to store anything. For six nights I prefer not living out of a suitcase. The "closet" had three hangers for two people and some shelves. The only hooks are in the bathroom. In addition to clothes in the winter we have coats, hats, and gloves. Our second issue was power. I would imagine that most people need to charge devices. There was one outlet on one side of the bed and a broken extension cord (which was reported). There is no side table on one side of the bed. The bathroom appeared fairly clean but smelled terrible. The towels are very small, but we made it work. The front desk sent someone to refreshen our bathroom. When we returned from dinner, we found our room was left unlocked with the bolt holding it open. Fortunately, nothing had been stolen, but we were very upset about lack of security. The halls smelled of marijuana daily and people were noisy early in the morning at at night. I asked housekeeping for a trash bag because the only trash can was tiny, and she said no. We woke to find that a pillow had come open, and there was foam everywhere (on us, in the bed, and all over the room).

Located in Waterloopin area, very easy to walk from Centraal station or very easy access via tram or Uber/taxi. Hotel is clean, staff are friendly, and its one of the nicer Ibis locations we've stayed in. Rooms were big enough, beds were comfortable and I would stay here again. Great value for an affordable hotel!

Brilliant hotel close enough to the centre to walk anywhere you want to go. However there is metro and tram stops around the corner for people who need it. Staff were very polite and helpful, breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Hotel was in a good location, walking distance from most city center attractions. Staff were friendly, room cleaned when requested.

Ibis is sensible stays at at sensible price and this hotel was quite reasonably priced. The comfort was OK with being great and the service staff nice without being experienced. Breafast was unimpressive and not particular fresh (cheese slices that were dry after being served two days in a row) and the juice was not kep cold during the night but simply turned on in the morning to rechill. For at hotel with "Centre" in the name, the location was somewhat off-centre.

This was a lovely central property with friendly, helpful staff always available. The breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately the pancake machine was not working but there was plenty on offer.

We really liked the location and convenience. The staff was very accommodating. The lobby was less than impressive and our room could have been cleaned better. There was hair in the bathroom which was not mine.

Accueil agréable, infrastructure très bien. En revanche les toilettes avaient été oubliées d’être nettoyées dans la chambre alors que le reste était impeccable. Ça peut arriver mais…Le petit déjeuner pas très gustatif. Sinon personnel au top.

Ibis is close by in walking distance to the canals and Waterlooplein metro which is 10 mins to Amsterdam centraal station. The room was not bad for twin room but for basic amenities this is only worth a 1-2 night stay. No room service except for clean. Eco friendly options for cleaning service. The room was awkward as no luggage or shoe space by the door. The room was cold in the winter (November) - suggest you take a hot water bottle with you! Staff were generally nice and helpful. There is one cafe nearby and two Japanese restaurants. A supermarket 5-10 min walk.
