Excellent staff . Parking was very narrow and hard to get to. Otherwise enjoyed stay would use again.

Nice hotel, good sized room and quite quiet. Breakfast was great and the staff were all very helpful.

Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung ist viel zu spät. Wenn man das Hotel gegen 10:30 verlässt, sollte man annehmen, das Zimmer spätestens um 14 Uhr geserviced wurde. Wenn das aber gegen 16:30 Uhr immwr noch nicht passiert ist sollte minestensc1 Stern von der Bewertung entfallen. Das Hotel liegt ansonsten etwas vom Hafen und Sky Tower entfernt - ca 20-25 Minuten. Auf dem weg dorthin muss man zu Fuss ganz schön bergauf gehen, andersrum ist es deutlich einfacher.

Convenient proximity to City Link bus stop. So easy to travel around the CBD. Staff were helpful and the facilities were spotless. Lone Star deserve their one star rating. Absolutely poor service and we heard a lot of apologies from staff regarding food and drink supplied. We would stay again at the Mercure though as access to transport meant that we could dine anywhere and we had a fabulous time

Too far away from main city. Was expecting it’s own restaurant rather than lone star.

I know this establishment well and I decided to try it out for myself before hosting Int visitors during the course of the New Year . I have been lied to that the security Deposit / Bond that they had taken from me was a hold only . After my stay my Bank told me it was a debit in fact ! That money has not been returned till now - 6 days on !

Comfortable and clean. The walk up the hill is a doozy but not too bad

We spent 5 nights in a room with balcony which was quite dark and facing a car park in a side way. I wished we had booked another room. Cleaning service although requested just showed up every other day.

Enjoyed my stay, however if you decides to park at the hotel. I recommend you don’t unless you have a small car because it’s so hard to get in and out when there’s a lot of cars parked down there.

Bit far away from lower queen street but appreciate the clean room and loveky service from the staff including an upgrade to two queen beds.
