Especially I fall in love this lodge - Tongariro Crossing Lodge that is located in National Park area nearby Tongariro.

I made a reservation this lodge with Hotels.com, it was my first time to use the apps but it was good choice.
The owner is lovely young couple and they are friendly and they told us good easy hiking spot; Tawhai Falls walk , it took only about 15min by car from this lodge and was very nice place.
Also I would like to recommend the cooked breakfast . The homemade bread was so tasty the best homemade bread ever...

We stayed here only one night on Christmas Day. Even though the weather was not good on the day, my mom said she stayed one more night here. She asked the owner how to bake the bread so I am looking forward to it at home...!

Pretty lodge - just as it looked in the photos. Rooms clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff really friendly and helpful with planning our trip and transferring luggage. We enjoyed the garden area too.

部屋はエルサレムスイートでしたが、廊下を隔てた別部屋との共同キッチンはちょっと使いづらかったです。
朝食を1回お願いしましたが、費用からすると満足できるものではありませんでした。不味くはありませんが。
その他清潔さやフロント対応などは問題ありません。ファミリーやグループでキッチン付きの部屋を利用するともっと快適だと思います。

トンガリロクロッシングにはホテル前からシャトルバスに乗れ、便利。その情報がウェブサイトにほしかった。スーパー、レストランも近くでよい。
部屋が共同キッチンの意味が予約の際には わからなかった。廊下を隔ててのキッチンということで、食事する場所とはなれており、不便だった。
Wi-fi接続がその都度切れてしまい、大変不便。

Our room was simple but very cozy and comfortable! Our host was incredibly gracious and accommodating, including offering to drive us to and from the train station. Given the price this place is an amazing value and highly recommended when visiting for the crossing.

2 bedrooms was nice. Beds were comfortable. Couch under tv was not convenient. Bathroom was clean and large, however, there was a back door to a shared courtyard that had clear glass in front of the bathroom door. The kitchen was very small, had everything, but a cooktop. Fridge did not freeze ice packs or keep things very cold.

I booked a room with a double bed and double sofa bet however, the sofa bed couldn’t set up.
We asked to the receptionist then she changed our room immediately .
We cooked for breakfast in the kitchen. The kitchen facilities are pretty convenient and nice and cleaned . Even plates and mugs are designed fancy.

Cosy, comfortable and thoughtful host. We came here to enjoy some peace and quiet without the hassle of meal preparation. This place was perfect for us and it’s within walking distance of a few dining places. It’s self-contained though, so the option of preparing our own meals was available.

Property was good for its location. Understandably there are limited dining options in such a sparsely populated area. Gas station was under renovations so we were unable to refill gas in town which was slightly inconvenient.
