Really awful stay at this hotel. I have been staying here several time. My husband and I travel to Bangkok very often, at least once a month. Recently we stayed at Pathuwan Princess, a convenient hotel to stay in. This time we checked in for 3 nights, 8/11 - 11/11. This is the 2nd time stayed in the old room - extra plus suite, because the room that we like already fully booked. The water heater not in the good condition, the room furniture are older. But is still ok, the worst feeling is after a hard work, a lLong walk from outside and back to the hotel at night, what you need is a good massage and the clean room. I like this hotel because they provided the in room massage service, first and second night, we booked for the massage, all ok but before the service, they called us and apologised that no masseur at the moment. So the 3rd time I get the front desk to call for us as we don’t like the spa center last minute called us and mentioned no masseur as we were already looked forward to have a good massage before sleep. The 2nd thing is about the cleanliness. First and second night we back to the room, we don’t really feel they came to clean our room, but the bed already been made and towel refilled, but we were tired to complained. The 3rd night we came back, from bad to worst, except the bed has been made and the towel refilled, I don’t see our room is tidy and clean up. The hair dryer was on the floor as the plug in the toilet is weak so have to use the outside plug next to the mirror, and the hair dryer did not keep back to the drawer. The working table was very messy, even the chair did not put back in the position. The magazine and dvd all over the tv rack and did not tidy up, the bed table remote control and the hp cable mess around, coffee area rubbish didn’t threw away and empty bottle water no refill, toilet basin very messy and the amenities drawer left it open. (One of the night they left their blue color dirty table clothes in our room) We have no choice to call the manager on duty to show her how messy is our room. I called front desk at 10:26pm on the 10/11/2019 to inform her that we need to see the manager in our room, but the front desk keep asking me what happened, so I told her is about the housekeeping. She said she will inform. We waited, but nobody came, I called 2nd times, the front desk said already informed the manager, so we waited again. After half an hour, my husband called, and we were very angry at that moment, as the manager didn’t even bother to take it seriously, we did not want to move anything because we need to show her the exact messy room, that’s why we were frustrated. Finally she and another guy came to our room, that time was 10:07pm. She came in also never apologised why she was late. We told her the situation, she also agreed our room was very messy. She took some picture, she apologised only about the mess in the room. After that she left. I wrote this review because I just want to make sure she delivered our message to the General Manager. I like this hotel that’s why I want you to improve the cleanliness and give more training for the housekeeper. The room number is 1211.
