The Clarion is a very nice hotel. The only complaint i have was the bed which was not comfortable. If you want a very hard bed then it will be great. For me, not so much.

The hotel had no heat in the elevator or guest room floors. The lobby was warm, but the rest of the hotel was freezing. The room thermostats only went up to 72 degree F. It struggled to maintain that temperature. Needless to say, my stay was miserable.
The only positives were the restaurant was open and the staff were very friendly. However, a salmon dish, sort pretzel and ice tea was $67 before tax and tip.

The hotel is a little overpriced but it is high season. They have a fairly decent gastropub on the premises. The pool is standard but clean and the grounds are well maintained. The location is off a major roadway and is surrounded by myriad strip malls. The room had a jacuzzi tub and the bed was comfortable. I would give it a solid “B”.
The standout was the staff. Everyone was cheerful, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. One of the better hotel staff (s) I have encountered in recent memory. It really does make a difference.

We really liked the pool, which was open long hours. The laundry room was very convenient. Our stay was very restful. The breakfast was not bad at all, except nowadays we expect sophisticated coffee options. Personnel was very welcoming and everything was easy. We asked for suggestions for dinner which worked out very well.
