We were given a disgusting room! It was around 11:30pm and ai finished unpacking. When I was ready to lay in bed I saw a bunch of insects that I’ve never seen running in the bed and pillows! I googled what a “bed bug” would look like a sure thing! They were all bed bugs!!!! Unbelievable!!! That late in the night, tired of a plane trip we had to pack again and move to another room: this time clean! The bed is not comfy though, the mattress is hard! The view to the ocean is stunning! Besides that if you don’t belong to the excess of religious families in there, you feel funny, they pray all long the day, so regardless if you are at the beach or at the reception, you are surrounded by them praying, so you feel like you don’t belong there.

The room was fine. A bit tired, but the air conditioner was so LOUD & Noisy we had to turn it off. When we opened our door, to the deck, there was also a lot of mechanical noise. We stayed there for the location near friends. We will not be staying there again

I recently stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. While the location and exterior of the hotel are lovely, there were several issues during my stay that left me disappointed. Firstly, there was no cold water in the shower—only scalding hot water. This was extremely inconvenient, especially when I was mid-shower with shampoo in my hair and had to run from room to room trying to find a functional shower.i had 2 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms but only hot water . Additionally, the cleanliness of the floors was unacceptable. When I wiped my foot on a towel, it turned black from the dirt. This is not what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bathrooms lacked locks, which compromised privacy, and none of the beds had proper sheets for the comforter. Initially, we assumed this was standard practice since all the beds were the same, but the front desk later informed us this was incorrect. After raising these concerns with the front desk, we were told the manager would contact us before our flight, but we are still waiting for a call. This lack of follow-through only added to our frustration. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience in hopes that the hotel can address these issues. The potential is there, but attention to detail and guest satisfaction need significant improvement.

Location is excellent, room layout is very good. Views and amenities are very good. Restaurant food and views are very good but service is way too slow and kitchen is not accommodating. Could be a great hotel but housekeeping and room cleaning are terrible. There is some deferred maintenance and the carpet in the hallways is stained and very dirty and does not get vacuumed regularly. There are also some very nice employees who do a good job.

No fue la habitación que escogí, la propiedad estaba sucia bien deteriorada el baño no tenía nada y el agua se salía hasta el cuarto para ser una suite era un cuarto normal de $300 dólares en cualquier hotel en Miami beach, los huéspedes me tiraron la puerta porque dicen que hacía mucha bulla mi peor experiencia en un hotel me siento robado me cobraron $1000 la noche y eso no vale ni 400 la noche

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody. Your items will go missing from your room,

Rooms are damages and dirty , the floor is sticky, the hot water takes 10 min to come after you open the shower… and the front desk telling you everthing is normal.. Poor hotel with the worst amenities, cheap service

Great hotel, nice staff, only opportunity is I wish they comp upgraded me, as we stay quite often, we have another long stay in Feb…

Like this hotel, stayed many times…. Have another stay in Feb, I just wish the comp upgraded guests like myself who stay 20+ nights a year…. Thanks!

Safe didn’t work but was eventually fixed and Channel 11//Foc never worked properly the whole trip though reported the 1st day.

Excelente servicio

It was a nice property and my room was lovely. However, I was disappointed in two ways. First, they send you text messages checking in and asking how things are doing. But when you reply, you hear nothing … so clearly it’s a bot message (silly me). Second, on a relatively cool day so not even high demand on the beach, I and others had to wait for people to leave because there weren’t sufficient beach chairs available. I can’t imagine how long one would have to wait on a lovely day … It just seems perhaps like management is a bit too hands off but these issues will not sort out themselves.

Beautiful views and great location…

We had a truly terrible experience and will not be returning. For our wedding anniversary, we booked the most expensive suite at this hotel, expecting a luxurious stay, but it was far from it. The remote control didn’t have batteries, the shower didn’t have hot water, the couch was filthy, the pillow was uncomfortable, and the bathroom had visible stains—completely unacceptable. When we called for assistance, the only solution offered was to downgrade us to a standard room without an ocean view. For the price we paid, this level of service and cleanliness is inexcusable. We’ll never come back and highly recommend trying the Altair Hotel or one of the many better options in the area. This is our first time writing a bad review and we hate doing it. but we felt we must share this
