We loved that the hotel was self check-in. I think some reviews mentioned the lack of staff availability but that’s to be expected with autonomous hotels, and we had no problem at all. We absolutely loved the quaint rooms and privacy. Puppy was happy too as we got one of the pet friendly rooms.We will definitely back!

Me and my boyfriend came to Tahoe for the weekend for our anniversary.We decided to pick heavenly valley lodge. It did not disappoint! Check in was easy as all you had to do was just put a code for your room. When walking in they had the fireplace on for us which made the room warm and welcoming. They had plates and cups and a small kitchen area. As well they had Netflix and YouTube on the tv so we could watch. Housekeeping was very nice. about a 4 min drive to heavenly village.Would definitely be staying here again.

Really love the area and the room ideas are awesome… you get a small hotel vibes but in a cabin perfect for a little get away.

Very sweet place! Able to park the car right outside the door. The correspondence and codes were frequent and very user friendly. The location is very good! Thank you for the coffee and flavored creamers. So cozy on a fall Tahoe evening. We enjoyed this stay very much.

Cute, quaint room which was perfect for our 3 night early November stay. Best part was the ambiance of the fireplace. We had an issue with the TV the first night but the super friendly maintenance guy took care of it and also gave food and hike recommendations! Over all a great stay!

We were a bit nervous when we drove up as the exterior of the property didn't look like much. It's pretty rustic. The room was lovely. We stayed in the fisherman themed room. It was decorated to perfection. The small kitchen area and bathroom were perfectly equipped with coffee maker, wineglasses and beach towels among other things. It is 1/2 mile from lakefront. We would stay there again.

The rooms are very small flooring very dirty kitchen faucet leaking all nite fireplaces did not work temp in the morning 37 outside fire pit did not work .no one on site to complain to

It's a nice and quiet place, close to downtown. The furniture and decorations are old. Breakfast is not included and the pictures look different from the actual place.

Heavenly Valley Lodge is off busy Lake Tahoe Blvd so it's quiet. The room was nicely decorated in a rustic timber theme. Although it promotes itself as not staffed, when I arrived, my room was missing coffee cups. I texted the property and within minutes, Rosie brought me coffee cups and demonstrated a friendly helpful attitude that set an oustanding tone for my entire stay. A good value and recommended.

This is NOT a lodge, does NOT have breakfast and some of the pictures are not for this facility. Classic bait and switch. This is just an old motel without the desk clerk. The room we were assigned had no threshold, and a gap under the exterior door big enough for large mice to walk through.

Perfect for what I was looking for! I stayed as a solo woman with my dog for 2 nights. The hotel was perfect for my needs- great location, super easy check-in, safe, and clean. Keep in mind that this “hotel” is a renovated motel, so it is not luxurious by any means, but it is clean and well-appointed. I usually stay at the casinos, but will definitely stay here again.

Rosy was wonderfully helpful when I first arrived, orienting me to the room and its amenities and how things worked and telling me about walkable restaurants in the area. Everything was neat and clean and she was very welcoming! Everything was perfect. Thank you!
