This is not a normal 3 1/2 star hotel! The design focus makes it really, really special and fun. It’s worth upgrading to premium rooms, which are really quite large and comfortable.

Surprisingly nice hotel alongside I-95. Solid impact glass pretty much reduced all the noise. Ultra modern, extremely clean and overall great facility for a one night day. A little off the beaten path from downtown, but if you’re looking for a place to stay while on your trip up or down I-95, this is a great option.

617's lighting could be upgraded a bit. Had to use my iPhone to locate any switch!

Really nice hotel that was cheaper than our usual hotel when we come to New Haven. Love the sustainability features (glass refillable bottles, refill stations in the hallway, solar panels, LEED Platinum so there are no drafts) and EV chargers (Tesla and others) on site so you can charge up to max capacity overnight. It’s also right off the highway so it’s easy to get to and still only a 5-10 minute drive from Yale. We’ll be back.

Great people with an incredible atmosphere

Hotel Marcel is an excellent place to stay. It is very clean and eco-friendly, and the staff is very polite and knowledgeable.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were furnished nicely, loved the style. The direct area is very industrial but it’s a quick drive to downtown New Haven

Minimalist style great after so many places featuring mid-century motel.

I have never stayed in this Hilton brand before and I was pleasantly surprised. It is ultra modern and has clean and stream-lined rooms. Everything has a purpose and neatly designed. The staff was very welcoming and we enjoyed dining in the on-property restaurant or dinner and breakfast. It was a little pricy to eat there but they never hid the fact that they were going for a certain vibe. Our only complaint would be that they were missing ingredients from their advertised dessert drink menu and this made the drinks slightly sub-par and or the cost, you kind of expect the best.

The corner suite on the top floor facing the water was spectacular. I will be booking here any time I'm in the area. Everything is high tech, and I love the fact it is also ecofriendly.

I liked the fact you needed an active room key for the elevator. Rooms were clean and very quiet.

The room was very clean, all personnel provided outstanding service, and my stay was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very nice. Easy to get to.

The Bauhaus design of the hotel is stunning. The staff especially Louie, was lovely and very helpful. However, there is no smart TV in the rooms which in this day and age is unheard of. I took my 15-year-old son for Christmas to the hotel and we were so looking forward to watching a movie on the big screen in this beautiful room and we ended up having to watch a movie on his phone. He was so disappointed. And the room is not cheap The next morning. We went to the very very overpriced restaurant and had the oiliest scrambled eggs I’ve ever had with a sausage patty literally drenched in oil. The room couch was dirty but beautiful. This hotel needs to keep up with the times and also get a new chef.

The entire stay was wonderful. Staff was excellent quick to respond to All request clean and easy access from 95 north and south would definitely stay again
