My husband and I were staying here after a long hiking trip and were hoping to have some of the amenities like the hot tub and the restaurant. The restaurant is closed down, so there was no continental breakfast like advertised, and the hot tub was not hot. When we asked if they could raise the temperature, the front desk staff called the maintenance person for us but they weren’t able to fix the issue. Since we came pretty much for those reasons, we decided to just leave. The front desk staff did give us a full refund.

The rooms weren’t clean the headboard even had handprints on them which was just disgusting.

THE ONLY PROBLEM THE MANAGER AT THIS HOTEL HE TREATS EMPLOYEES AND COSTUMERS VERY BADLY

Because it had rained, the area outside our door had pools of water and mud and there was not mat or rug to wipe off our shoes.

The grounds were great and the check in was super easy. The rooms are updated and nice. The big main grassy area was very nice

I would have given Marin Inn a four out of five rating if not for the water situation. During our four-day stay, we had to call every day because the water would stop running. This was particularly inconvenient on the day of a wedding when I needed to get ready. Despite this issue, the overall experience at Marin Inn was decent. The housekeeping employees were helpful and accommodating, and the property had a nice yard for our dog. The complimentary intercontinental breakfast was a nice touch, and the location near stores was convenient. However, due to the recurring water problem, I am hesitant to stay at Marin Inn again in the future. The manager was not very helpful.

The property is right on the freeway making it impossible to sleep. We had to leave at 3A and sleep in our car on a side street because it was just impossible to sleep in the room. Management promised us a refund through Expedia and then refused to honor the promise when we went to secure the refund. Bad property. Bad management.

Stayed there with our two little girls and this place was very family friendly. Lots of room for our kids to walk around in a safe space. Breakfast selections included the basic essentials. Staff responded promptly to small requests.

Room was just average---was located in the back of the property facing a parking lot. Now , if we had been in the front group of rooms facing a nice grass area and swimming pool my view might have been different.

A perfect Inn, clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff.

Meh

Well, overall was average, clean...but old and a bit worn down. 1). No entry light inside and the room numbers in the outside were very hard to.read, especially at night. 2). Bathroom had no washclothes. Hand towels are not washcloths. 3). It was very cool outside and we arrived back to our hotel, after dinner, very late. The heat and air in the room was quite old. We turned the heat on for just a bit to take the chill off, and it smelled like it was on fire...so we shut it off completely. At least we had a warm comforter. 4). Dont be fooled by "free" breakfast....it was just bread, bagels, juice, cereal and coffee....nothing warm or cooked-no eggs, or waffle maker. So we just left. 5). The pool and hot tub were closed, as well. 6). I was close to where we needed to go, but also very close to the freeway. Staff was minimal.

Decent

The pool was closed and should have been disclosed at booking.

The reception staff were kind and friendly. The room was comfortable. The rooms encircled an exceptionally beautiful, manicured lawn with trees and a few fire pits with comfortable seating. There is a room next to the pool with an above-average continental breakfast. This was a great stay. I would definitely return again in the future.

Loved the inside courtyard, very unique. Perfect for a wedding.

Needs to be updated a little but was clean & quiet
