GOOD HOTEL WITH PLENTY OF PARKING AND A GOOD BREAKFAST.Nice view of the river Thames.

Worse stay ever .. noise from above my room .. i reported it a few times . Arguing slamming doors for a few hours .. eventually went to sleep after 1am

We stayed here for 1 night took look after my son after he had an operation, for convenience. On turning up at the hotel and seeing it had scaffolding everywhere, I was thinking it was a big mistake! The work looks like it is going to be extensive to repair the crumbling stone work of the hotel. The rooms aren't much better, they're in desperate need of revamping, the carpets have many stains, I'm not sure if the bathroom lino was dirty or stained? The room we stayed in was sloping and the floorboards creeked really bad, which must've been annoying for those in the room underneath. We was on the top floor, overlooking the river and without the scaffolding in the way, I'm sure it will be really nice. Other than that, it didn't smell dirty and sheets & towels were clean, as was rest of the room. The staff were pleasant and breakfast was cooked to perfection. The hotel has a lovely garden and view across the river, which I can imagine is very nice in the Summer. Overall, it was okay for what we wanted it for and if need be, I would consider staying here again. Hopefully it will look far better once refurbished especially if the rooms are done too, as this is a prime location. That said, the room was extremely basic, with bare minimum facilities, but the beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. There was a shower over a bath which was adequate.

Poor check in experience I booked 2 rooms for my employees. don't have time to then check them in online, but expect when they arrive for the hotel to be able to do this manually without a fuss. My guys spent 30+ minutes being messed about by the reception guy before being allowed to check in after i called them. Will never use this hotel again,Thinks it's the ritz, it's just a local hotel

the hotel informed engineers to leave their vehicles parked on double yellows and just risk getting a ticket. most disappointed

I don’t recomandate this Hotel ! Poor facilities,poor cleaning only staff was ok and very good food.

This place was horrendous

The staff was very poilet and friendly no complaint about them. We arrived into our room and the room really badly smelt of curry. When we went into the bathroom we found hairs in the shower plug hole and it put us of using the shower, overall experience was average staff memebers are great but room had its issues.

The staff were lovely but the hotel room was very old fashioned and not a lot of plug sockets there was no soap in the bathroom, and the room was very hot no air con. I can understand why the price is very low because you pay for what you get which was very minimum. 😞 I wouldn’t stay again

Very run down. Your welcomed with scaffolding exterior. We had river view BUT it was the Pub beer garden benches outside our room as well, so you could conversations throughout the night. Additionally above our rome is a rooftop pub beer area, you could hear walking, moving tables and chairs and voices. We were shattered before getting there and as you can imagine we had no so great sleep, so exhausted the following morning. I ADVISE THAT YOU AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Having arrived at property we were shocked to see the state of the building outside with scaffolding up. Almost drove away because it looked derelict but car park was busy so we thought that we would check if open. Had to park in the street as lots of builders vehicles taking up spaces. Yes it was open but very much in need of updating - would not stay there again - Sorry an inspection is very much needed if you wish to continue to advertise this property.

Ich war vor sicher 8-10 Jahren mal dort und habe eigentlich alles ok gefunden. Nun war ich echt enttäuscht, das beste die Lage an der Themse, die Bar meistens das wichtigste in England super, das Essen auch. Total daneben war für mich den Online Check in, habe keinen Link bekommen um mich vorher anzumelden, da steht man 15 Minuten blöd rum anstatt es direkt mit der Rezeption zu klären. Auch mies bis man an das Frühstück kommt, ab 7 Uhr man geht schon etwas später und dann muss man immer noch warten. Die Küche musste mindestens 10 mal gerufen werden bis mal jemand auftauchte, dann dauerte es 25 Minuten bis das Frühstück kam,nur Saft oder nur Kaffee sonst muss man mehr bezahlen ein Witz für mich. Dafür war das Frühstück lecker. Die Wände im Zimmer sind leider nicht viel mehr als Papier, nervt besonders wenn’s nebenan zur Sache geht
