Bombina Cottages

Secluded property right in the heart of Denmark. Wake up to the birds and kangaroos eating right out the front. Spent 7 days here nice and central to explore the great southern region from the hills of the porongorups to the trees of pemberton manjimup. The super IGA is right down the road. So cosy nights by the fire with a home cooked meal made it feel like a second home.

Great quiet little spot on the edge of town. Rustic but enchanting and clean. Lots of wildlife in the grounds. Note: there is a washing machine but no dryer. No wifi but phone reception. Would stay again.

Excellent place to stay, The cottages are well equipped very neat and tidy.

The property was in a gorgeous, tranquil setting. Everything you needed amenity wise is provided. The Eco cottage has a bird bath outside the front window & the birds were loving taking a bath there!! Kangaroos were in abundance & the view was beautiful. Would definitely stay there again. I met Elsa who is lovely & nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you Elsa.

Loved the fire and the view

We felt very comfortable and relaxed in our forest chalet, short walk to town. There were so many native birds and animals visible from our private balcony, we found it perfect for us, will be going back there again.

Cottage is a little on the rustic side but has everything you need during your stay. Wood fire, basics in the kitchen etc. No Internet so mobile coverage is fine. Situated a 2-3 drive out of Denmark town centre.

Cosy accomodation. Close to centre of Denmark. Ammenities need some tlc. Better quality products plus a lick of paint would lift the cottage up! Needs a makeover to bring it up to 2017. Owner was very attentive and friendly.

Communication, location / view / environment, proximity to town all great. Accommodation not contemporary but very useful and appropriate - actually wish we stayed longer, now in Albany and at something modern - lacks the charm of Bombina - miss the wildlife

Forest cottage was a comfortable home away from home. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the area and the comfortable bed. The open fire was great and having the firewood ready to go was perfect. It is an older style cottage which could do with some updating, but was mostly clean and everything worked well. Some time spent removing cobwebs and cleaning windows would be good so you could fully enjoy the view. Loved the birds and kangaroos (with joeys) that visited, yet we were only 5 minutes out of town. Thoroughly recommend booking a massage with Elsa, it was the best one I have ever had!
