The rooms here are clean and spacious, and include a well-stocked kitchen plus dining room, roomy couch in the living area and very comfortable bed. There’s even a washing machine in the bathroom. The accommodation is nestled amongst a leafy garden setting and there’s ample secure parking for an extra cost. There’s plenty of eating places within walking distance.

I regularly stay in the sister hotel Majestic Minima across the street, the apartments at Majestic Old Lion are certainly a step up. The area around Melbourne Street North Adelaide is really a great place to base yourself when you're staying in Adelaide.

No air con in bedrooms and can get stuffy - stairs are a challenge for elderly or unwell people, should tell people when booking that there is no lift and they should ask for a ground floor apartment. There were cockroaches in the bathroom.

The room was clean and comfortable.
I reported that the Wifi didn’t work for our 2-3 day stay, and the Safe Box didn't work either. Plus, the iron although it worked perfectly, leaked water onto the carpet.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

What great place to stay, lovely part of the city.
The place, location and amenities from the hotel, are great.
I reckon, that is is good, if in reception, tell us a bit more about the facilities, very simple like, the spare bed is ready, it is in the sofa,.....or the internet requires to open a browser,...they are few things that are simple , bot not straight forward for my, teen age daughter.
What a place looking forward to stay again in the future.

I got two phone calls regarding my stay before hand and i asked for parking both times then when i had to go and pick the key up at another location they had a not saying i needed parking but there was no fob there for me to use the parking!

Majestic Lion was always my go-to for work trips to Adelaide pre-pandemic, but i've since not stayed for ~5 years. Whilst lovely grounds and looks great from the outside, it is starting to feel a little dated in the room - same room I stayed in previously - and the cleanliness was questionable (toilet had dried urine from prior guest, odour from the bathroom drain). I'm back in ADL again before end of year but have changed my booking. It is still a great spot, and they provide some great rates, but i've opted to upgrade for the next stay.

Always a great place to stay . Well equipped and convenient and very clean and comfortable. Only criticism is that the toaster needs to be a 4 slice …. When accommodating 4 people .
