Basic accommodation. Bathroom needed some repairs. It was well priced. Paid underground parking was welcomed in the winter. Breakfast area was ok. Food was average. No point in having a kitchenette if there are absolutely no flatware or kettle or plates/pots.

For the price you pay I’d say its great enough. If you are in a budget this is a good place, however do not expect the hotel be nicer like a 4-5star hotel because if you can afford you wouldn't be here. Place seems trying to do the best, facilities are good enough , washroom quite a little work but doable for a 1-2 day trip. Breakfast absolute exceptional lots of variety and option and that was not expected for the budget. Dog friendly hotel, that’s a plus. 1 large dog only allowed. Parking $35 a night but underground so reasonable.

It was a terrible experience with hotel faubourg montreal that we had to sign out from there and look for another stay options. No parking available, dirty room with non working lights and disconnected room service and last but not the least when we highlighted the issues to reception representative, she did not even acknowledge.

The Faubourg Montreal is a great property for families and guests with pets. It is a spacious hotel/apartment style property close to Old Montreal/Chinatown. The unit we had was a great size with a King bed but the heater was turned up so high as soon as we entered the room so we had to adjust the temperature right away and turn on the AC to cool it down. It was clean however, because pets are allowed, there was a faint "dog smell" coming from either the carpet or furniture. It would help if upon cleaning, a carpet powder or sanitizing spray be used to boost the cleanliness. The one thing we were not aware of was that the hot water tank is kept in the bedroom so hot water is limited, if someone uses it for a hot shower the next person has no hot water and has to wait approx. 2 hrs to replenish. The buffet was ok, extremely busy if you go at 8am onwards. The price was very reasonable but the location was a little further from Old Montreal, lots of options in the area and we would not consider some place any further than the Faubourg. Would we stay again? Perhaps but definitely not during Winter months. Great basic property if you are on a budget and need larger space for a family and/or group.

Our stay at the this hotel was wonderful!!! We wanted to add an extra night to our stay and they were so helpful with this, making accommodations for us and allowing us to stay in the same room for the extra night! Parking was easy and you could get in and out any time which was amazing! The only thing I wish was better about the stay was breakfast. It was only available from 6:30-9:30am and so it was inconvenient to make it there on time. When we did make it there on time, the quality of the breakfast wasn't the best. Overall, a wonderful stay and would come again!
