In Nottingham for an ice hockey camp came here to stay absolutely gorgeous hotel lovely staff . Only disappointment was I booked this because it had a pool but my son wasn’t able to use it because of kids hours and he was so excited and looking forward to it. Would have been nice after a day ice hockey training ! But everything else was wonderful

Very high standard for what we paid. Big room, well appointed. Lovely staff. Overall we were very happy.
Nitpicks: the pool and facilities close early, and the restaurant is a bit over priced.

Booked a suite for 3 for one night. Shame that we couldn’t stay longer as the room was great and we didn’t have time to enjoy any of the pool/spa facilities. The suite booked had a separate area for the sofa bed, so added privacy. The metal four poster bed was a nice touch.
We had dinner, burger and sea bass, which were both very nice. The staff were stretched but absolutely top notch.
The breakfast in the morning was buffet style and great, and again, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Will have to come back and enjoy more of the facilities.

The room was as expected and i liked the fact that it has bath and shower. It was also clean. However, considering that it was cold and snowed, the heating was not working. One of the bedside tables was noticeably broken so was a chair.

Check-in wasn’t great. I checked in around 6.30PM and it was ten minutes before anyone even looked at me, the receptionist was lone working for some reason and on the phone… They were understaffed the whole stay, any time I wanted something I had to wait ten minutes at reception before someone turned up- they didn’t even have a bell to call someone!
Room was alright, a bit tired looking and had dirty glasses. The amenities were tired, dirty pool with a jacuzzi that didn’t work the entire time I was there.
Bog standard breakfast with rubbish cooked vegetarian options, total rip-off for what you get. Wouldn’t return for business.

Nice enough stay. I stayed here mainly for the gym and pool facilities whilst working in the area. I had a front room with a balcony which had a cup full of smoked cigarettes in like an ashtray left on the floor of it. Room was clean enough, bathroom had long strands of hair on the tiles over the bath still. I’ve stayed here before and would still stay again.

Reception staff very welcoming, room mirrors dusty, toilet was dirty - we cleaned it ourselves. View was of function room roof- which had a function until 1am so abit noisy

The room was a very good size and the bed extremely comfortable. I don’t find the checkin lady very friendly or helpful and had to wait ages to checkin as she was on her own which is unusual for a hotel this size.

The hotel overall looked very nice upon arrival. As we went to our room, the hallways and room smelled strongly of disinfectant. The carpet was a bit dirty in the room and hallways. The bed was not very comfortable. It was considered a King bed, however it was really 2 twins pushed together causing a crevice in-between. The mattress was covered with plastic and made a "crinkle" noise with movement. The flat sheet on the bottom was too small and wrinkled underneath. Not a good night sleep :( The positive was that the room itself, and the bathroom, were very large by European standards. Another positive, parking is free and breakfast was economical and good.

Room was nice but no complimentary drinks in mini bar or sufficient bottles of water. Pull out bed and curtains had large stains. Lots of food and plates left outside rooms and not cleared. Gym not open till 8 which was frustrating. Also breakfast was great but plates were tiny.
