Staff were nice and friendly, the room was a set up to high standard . There was also a hairdryer which was good because it rained the night before, so could dry clothes. Lift good ! Has lots of space around the hotel. Loads of rooms , the room was really good ! I would definitely stay again ! Thank you to the staff and everyone that make this hotel fantastic! Will come again sometime in the distant future !

Nice restaurant team on Xmas Eve very friendly, food all frozen for the price as £8.50 for dessert and £9 for starters which were more light bites, the chicken burger is a frozen product for £18 food okay but I no it was all frozen, dessert had to send back as my daughter wanted the chocolate waffle brownie came cold with ice cream ask if they could microwave the brownie and they did but sent out with the original vanilla ice cream, as a chef of fresh food would skip eating this again, although staff excellent

Second stay here and again,a perfect choice for our Xmas shopping trip.
Staff were excellent,friendly and helpful,food was lovely,room cozy and clean.
Walkable to town with great mix of shops,beautiful cathedral with Xmas market.
Happy to recommend.

Heating was not working! The ladies on reception and the manager were absolutely amazing kind attentive and so polite and went above and beyond to get us a heater and fan. They honestly were excellent and all staff were lovely!!

Surprisingly quiet for the location. Clean, well provisioned, except why don't hotels in England have luggage racks? A bit wider path would've been awesome if we were staying longer - not wide enough for a suitcase.
