This was clearly a quick renovation to flip to rentals. There is very clearly water damage and a lot of wear and tear in the unit. Didn’t see anything like this unit in the pictures. And after booking was provided with a different address than the one on the booking. Overall though it’s a huge space and comfortable. And the location is great.

Vi blev relocatet af Hotels.Com til 4 Lyall Street- Flat 1. da vi 3 dage inden planlagt ankomst til London, fandt ud af at vores oprindelige lejemål Earl Court Chambers EC1 ikke fandtes. Udlejere af Earl Court kunne ikke kontaktes via mail eller telefon, hverken af os eller af Hotels.com support. 4 Lyall Street – Flat 1 viste sig desværre at være en ubehagelig, fugtig indelukket kælderlejlighed, som på ingen måde levede op til de fejlagtige lovprisningerne på hjemmesiden. Der var stort set ingen af de lovede ting i lejligheden. Der var ingen gårdhave med udsigt til byen. Ingen hårtørrer, toiletartikler eller håndsæbe. Ingen Netflix eller Satellit-tv og ingen funktionel pejs. Det var stort set umuligt at lave mad i køkkenet da der kun var to små kasseroller og en skarp knive. Der var ingen viskestykker, karklud eller sæbe til opvaskemaskinen. Mørklægningsgardiner var der ingen af, i stedet var der store træskodder som på ingen måde kunne holde lys ude. Det dybe badekar manglede en prop og det andet badeværelse havde et stoppet afløb, så vandet løb ud på gulvet. Vi klagede til Hotels.Com over de manglende faciliteter og over at lejligheden lå 3 meter under jorden. Hotels.com mente ikke at de skulle hjælpe os, da vi ifølge deres forståelse allerede en gang tidligere havde fået hjælp af dem. Udlejer havde en anden lejlighed, som vi kunne flytte til 3 dage senere. Den nye lejlighed var ganske fin.

The apartment was charmingly Victorian with updates to modernize. The location was lovely, a quiet neighborhood and only 10 min to a tube stop. We did find that the dinnerware and dining furniture were insufficient for our party of six, and the kitchen lacked some basics but our contact responded quickly to equip us with most of what we needed by the next day. We were disappointed that the bed description from the listing was not fulfilled prior to occupancy (one of the two futons was missing). We did complain and received it the next day. There is a washer but no dryer. There are towel warming racks so able to dry clothes that way. Be aware the unit is not as described on Expedia, but overall we were comfortable and happy with our accommodations.

We loved staying at this cozy flat in London. Location was awesome, close to Gloucester Road tube station, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Such a charming street. Our neighbor was friendly, out watering the plants every morning. We looked forward to coming home to this flat every evening after a day of exploring London! Would highly recommend !

The property we rented was not available so we were given. Figuring this out took many hours and confusing conversations in London once we had arrived. The new apartment was unattractive, in poor condition but in a good location. Also the smoke detector was disabled.

I had booked a room for 7 people with beds or sofa beds for everyone - there were only for 5 and 2 small mattresses were brought in which was not what my 2m sons were fit for. In general the condition of the apartment did not at all match the picture. It was tacky and old. Windows were broken a bit, there was unclean launday smelling of vomit left on top of the washing machine, dirty dishes in the rooms, no coffee machine, no kitchen ware for 7 people etc. The one good thing was the excellent location. When discussing the bed situation, they were not willing to listen or understand the difference to what i had booked.

Dear fellow travellers, Avoid this property owner at all cost. I experienced the most insincere service with several misleading information. There are so many other options for accommodation in London - this one really isn’t worth it unless you want your holiday utterly ruined.

We stayed for four days in Chelsea at 15 Sprimont. The management were very friendly and accommodating by providing an extra set of keys and towels during our stay. Chelsea is a great neighbourhood in London. With regards to the home,considering the great location, the home did not meet our expectations, whatsoever. The towels and linens were tattered and the mattresses in all three bedrooms needed replacement. Water stains on the walls in the master bedroom were apparent from a former water leak. The cleaning by the cleaning crew was subpar. Overall, the home was a great vintage design, but lacked attention to detail. i.e wifi router just sitting on the floor in the vestibule as you enter the home. Mail and flyers strewn in the entryway. Just not what we expected in an upscale neighbourhood. Disappointing to say the least!

Great location. The host has been very helpful on checking in and out. Spacious flat.

Sprimont Place: poorly equipped kitchen. cold in winter. fireplace did not work. no extra towels, no kitchen towels. shabby carpets.

Nice location and recently renovated. There is small things that easily can be fixed to make the stay better for e.g the 6th bed could have been a bed and not a mattress on the floor.

Dirty apartment which was ill-equipped and uncomfortable.
