Always a guaranteed good quality visit. Parking arrangements rather complicated but hotel staff very helpful to complete parking booking.

Nice and quiet hotel, our room was big, spacious, clean with a view overlooking the centre and the church. Close to all shops, restaurants and bars.

Great location, great staff, but no wifi on second floor for some random reason.

A good convenient location for a meeting and access to the station. Very nice room and pleasant public areas including a nice quiet bar area.

Went to the Champagne Bar and asked for a glass of champagne to be told ‘we don’t have any’ I made a light hearted comment about it being a champagne bar to which the staff member said ‘I only work here’! Ordered a tuna sandwich which came on quite dry cheap supermarket type loaf. Expected better in a 4* hotel. Room was ok but only one packet of biscuits and no water. On each visit here I always hope for improvement and am constantly disappointed. It’s well located and looks nice but that’s it. Not sure I’ll bother again.

As an older person I really struggled with the subdued lighting in the room. Also the heating control was not easy to follow not a strong internet connection on the second floor. The staff where excellent as was the breakfast

Advertise as a “Spa Hotel” didn’t expect to have to pay £10 pp per visit on top of the room rate. Very disappointing

Great stay in a disable room apart from house keeping forgot hand wash but there was shower gel and moisturiser in wet area so managed and use own anti Bac gel The Hotel couldn’t do enough for every one especially this morning when Sheffield city centre was covered in snow. We’ll return thank you

We stay at this hotel every few months, it is the best in Sheffield. The only downside is that you now have to pay £10 every time you visit the pool. Maybe they could rethink this and make it £10 per stay.

Stayed one night on New Year’s Eve . Could not fault the hotel in anyway. So quick and easy check in . Lovely and clean . Staff very pleasant and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom very spacious and added bonus was large shower and a bath . Hotel was very easy to find and great central location. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I’ve stayed a few times in the past and got to say this is one of the worse stays I’ve had in what is said to be one of Sheffields top hotels! The shower was cold! The hall ways were dirty, and one lift out of service, which wasn’t told about. Outside of one of the rooms were just a pile of alcohol bottles almost full just left in the hallway. The room was ok, and the staff were polite. Just never seen it like this before.

Hotel rooms and reception staff were fine . Rooms do need some updating Pool area and SPA was disappointing for which you pay extra for . The pool and changing area was dirty and furniture in poor state

Beds were ver uncomfortable. Booked a double and it was just 2 singles pushed together so there was a gap between the beds. Room was quite dated. Sound didn’t work on the tv and when the tv was on standby there was a clicking noise coming from it so we had to pull the cupboard out and unplug it.

The location in the centre of the city is excellent, if a little difficult to drive up to due to traffic restrictions. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and understanding, providing really great service. We stayed one night and didn't experience the leisure facilities or restaurant, but our room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé au coeur de Sheffield, à 10 minutes a pied de la gare et tout près aussi de l'université de Sheffield Hallam. La décoration est élégante et moderne. Le matelas était trop mou a notre goût mais c'est très personnel, d'autres apprécient ce genre de literie. Chambre calme et fonctionnelle, restaurant du petit déjeuner très agréable avec sa vue sur le jardin botanique, et en dehors de l'absence de chocolat en poudre, beaucoup de choix pour tous les goûts : full English breakfast, fruits, viennoiseries, fromages et charcuterie... Des marges de progrès : la jeune femme qui nous a enregistré ''eteot pas très aidante, lorsque nous lui avons demandé de nous aider à nous orienter elle nous a donné une carte sans explication ; l'acces a la piscine est payant de même que le prêt de parapluie, c'est assez mesquin. Au total, les points positifs l'emportent et nous étions très contents de notre choix.
