lovely place and good location for liverpool street station and restaurants etc. only the pricing a bit pricey as it doesnot include breakfast.

Although the room was okay and the staff were pleasant, an issue regarding a breakfast charge at check out really dampened our experience. We were asked after we had checked in if we would like breakfast the following morning, which we decided we would, and it was explained to me that the charge would be taken from my security deposit. My husband was then very ill overnight and therefore felt unable to eat that morning- I explained this at check out and that we wouldn't be having breakfast as we needed to get him home. I have since been advised that the £38 charge for two breakfasts will be kept by the hotel and not refunded to us. Considering no food was actually cooked for us and wasted, I feel this is really unfair. Also, we didn't even book breakfast with the initial room charge- we just simply verbally agreed to it at check in, and nowhere in the terms and conditions on the hotel website does it state that breakfast is non refundable. We have been advised it is 'standard procedure', which in this instance certainly comes across as the company simply being greedy in terms of money. After emailing to complain, I have been offered a complimentary breakfast with our 'next stay'. Safe to say that won't be happening... What a disappointing end to our trip- really poor customer service and generally just a rubbish way to treat someone. Will not be using this chain ever again out of principle.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We will be recommending this location to others in the future.

Dejligt hotel kommer gerne igen. Løsnings venligt personale. Vores værelse var koldt , men fik hurtigt en extra radiator. Ligger dejlig centralt i byen. Morgen mad der manglede ikke noget.

L’hôtel vaut surtout pour sa localisation près de la gare de Liverpool street. Il est installé dans une ancienne brasserie aux coins et recoins avec escaliers.C’est calme et propre mais ne vous attendez pas à un palace.

Great experience! Friendly staff, cleanliness, comfy bed! Only downside were the desk’s chargers didn’t work so my usb charge could not use. Also extra bed’s duvet was too heavy and my child 6 years old sweat badly so she needed to move to our bed to sleep together. Still we give 5 stars as we had a happy stay!

We were moved to another hotel night before our stay, notified by email, no apology and no explanation. Only being lied to.

Man får ikke særlig meget for pengene. Det ser ellers lækkert ud billederne, men det er for dyrt. Badekaret virkede ikke, sengen var ikke særlig god. De havde glemt at give os en elkedel, men de var flinke i receptionen og hentede en til os. Men helt generelt, er det alt for dyrt, du får ikke særlig meget for pengene her.

An excellent stay, staff were very welcoming and the hotel is well situated for a visit to the theatre which was why we were there. Facilities are excellent and it is well maintained. Would stay again 100% a shout out to Alexandra on the welcome desk who made my son laugh and start his visit perfectly

I keep getting caught out on how much London and location creeps the prices up. This hotel was fine. But that’s all. I expected a little more luxury but it was there once we got to the room itself. It smelt of damp and the fixtures were a little tired. But it was warm and quiet and did the job it needed.

Everything is walkable from the property. Girls on reception are amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable! Very clean rooms only not perfect things are beds , in my opinion they need new beds! Overall highly recommended!

Great location and charming warm welcome

This is the second time we have stayed. We paid for a larger room this time, unfortunately the location of the room meant we were in a noisy area overlooking a nightclub. The plug in the bath didn’t work, so couldn’t have a bath after a long day. It is in a great location for us though

Really enjoysble stay. It's a lovely hotel and very convenient being so close to the Barbican where we had been attending a concert. I would definitely stay here again.

Very different to the usual chain hotels. I love choosing unique hotels and this one was convenient for a function that I was attending in the city. Breakfast offering was not as nice as some other hotels. The room was somewhat tired and while clean there were some marks on the desk and beside table. Room was above on-site pub and therefore quite noisy. Overall, pleasant stay with friendly staff.
